Fuel injector stuck open

Күн бұрынDuramax stuck open fuel injector. 2003 lb7 GMC. A stuck open injector causing lots of black smoke and hard knocking noise. Replaced with new injectors fixed the problem.

It's okay, Lb7 are infamous for bad injectors

Probably because it’s a nightmare to change one out. I have done it 4or 5 times on the lb7 and I swear every time I’ll never do it again.

About $3,400 for all injectors. Did it in about 12 hours. Get new return line bolts if you’re going to do this project. It’s a must.

You probably could have fixed it with some Motorkote in your fuel.

A sign of your injectors being gone is white smoke. Does that thing have a turbo charge?

Well the new injectors fixed it. So that must of been the issue
