Today we are going to talk about the fuel problems that we have been having with our Wood Mizer LT35 Kholer Commander 25. We go into detail about the problems we had and what all we tried and changed in order to fix it.

You are correct. Ethanol fuel is horrible for many reasons, and all of my 2 cycle engines hated me till I started using NON-Ethanol. Yeah, its more expensive, but how much would I pay to get rid of 90% of problems with these small engines ? It is worth it ! $4.41 in North Central Florida, while the ethanol fuel was $3.25. Great diagnostics. I fix small engines so I can relate to the aggravation. Thanks again, Mr. Champion.

Ethanol fuel is a big problem that's not a myth . I won't run it in old stuff or small engines.

Really good video we just picked up our LT35 Monday cut some trees Tuesday and started making lumber then the rain came. So hopefully the weather man is right and Friday we can get back to making lumber. We did like you said and bought 2 sets of roller guides and a 10 blades from wood mizer but I spoke to Joe Main and will be ordering some more from him. Once again thanks for all the tips and keep them coming. Ps we run non ethanol

Good tips. I don't know if it is available in your neck of the woods, but we run non-ethanol premium in all our small engines. It is more expensive but I think it has saved alot of headaches.

That's what I was going to suggest, that ethanol fuel reaks havoc on gas motors.

Eric, my fuel pump gave out on the LT 35. Replaced it with a $10 dollar 12 volt fuel pump and wired it into a 12 volt hot wire. Grounded it to the steel on the machine and she has been running smooth ever since. Maybe this will help someone avoid the high dollar Koehler fuel pump. Like your videos.

Glad you got your issues figured out. I do have a question about a totally different thing I keep noticing on your videos. The "Bearded Lumber" on your shirt is always backwards. Is that happening on my end or some quirk in videoing? Just weird.

Lol, somebody finally got it, my daughter in-law was learning how to print graphics and got it reversed by accident. I been wearing it just to mess with people head sorry I couldn't help it 😅

I know it’s aggravating trying to chase down seemingly ghost problems. I am curious can y’all get non ethanol gas in your area? We have had lots of nightmares running ethanol gas in our small engines. The carburetors are usually what would give us the issues, but since we’ve started running the non ethanol gas we’ve had no more problems.

The Kholer engines have a bad name with a few lads here in Ireland Eric I'm trying to get funding to get an LT70 wide and edger 300 plus the big sharpener and toothsetter all in will cost me 60,000 euro plus another 30,000 for a medium volvo L70 loading shovel
