I had the same problem in my van, this one even have the return line but the constant pressure ended up ruining the pump outlet, i'm wondering why the people from the lpg kit didn't take this in consideration it's also kinda dangerous, i installed a switch just like yours but hidden so it also acts as a theft deterrent

I did exactly the same... On a Mercedes w210 (same issue) , and it works as well as anti theft hiden button...hahahaha but like you said, relay would be better...

got a 96 and havent had these issues. Just the fuel pump gauge not working, so i never know what i have for fuel. Same cause? real curious. And might want to get that engine looked at, that ticking isnt normal hahaha.

Mir ist heute die Pumpe verreckt, nachdem ich jetzt schon enige Zeit Probleme beim starten hatte. Und das alles erst, seit die Gasanlage eingebaut wurde! Die Frage die sich mir stellt, wieso das nicht bei allen Fahrzeugen passiert. Kollege hat in seinem Gen2 die selbe LPG Anlage drin wie ich, vom selben Umrüster und bei ihm funktioniert alles wie es soll. Naja.. ich hab jedenfalls ne neue Pumpe bestellt und werde dann einen Schalter dazwischen bauen. Wo hast du den Schalter angeschlossen? Gibts da im Motorraum irgendwo ne gute Stelle, oder hast du ein Kabel bis zum Tank gezogen?

ich weiss nur das einige fahrzeuge eine ringleitung für den sprit haben und einige nicht, und wenn keine vorhanden ist läuft die Spritpumpe gegen hohen Druck dauerhaft. Das kann ja sein, dass man glück hat und die pumpe das einige jahre mitmacht, meine nicht. .. für den schalter habe ich ein kabel gefunden, dass zwischen Radkasten vorne fahrerseite und tür fahrerseite drunter verläuft durch einen stecker. gucke nach einem grünen kabel wenn ich mich recht erinnere, das geht weiter zur spritpumpe, hoffe das hilft

HI, I have BRC LPG in my car also, but 10 years worked well but now LPG doesnt switch on. I have change the injection kit and the fuses also but not working still. What is working is to add WD40 but only for 5 minute. I would like to ask for some help. Thanks

The Wide Open Life Not really! LPG will only shut down the fuel injector while fuel pump still work build up the high pressure. I just recently replace my LX470 fuel pump.

how much they charging for LPG? - 80c/L here in Australia - only because all you yankies are using the gas to heat your homes - winter for us it goes down to about 69c/L - better than $1.38/L for petrol / gasoline
