i agree the FT guys seem pretty likeable (if you don't count the theft/screwing over of billet atomizer ), but they seem to have more issues in the quality control/production than most. I think you have some good tooners who like it, but it seems like the racers who are doing it out of their own pocket/poking their own keyboard run the motec.

Listen to Pete and take notes. He makes it as simple as possible for most to understand. You need someone to show you the basics of plugs, ignition and fuel. Then you move to more advanced topics like traction, temps, shifting and tree. If you think starting with a duel turbo 1000hp car you are going to be in for a huge ass kicking. Get a good NA setup and learn to tune it until you have nothing left on the table then move on. Thanks for the great videos.

I think if you went to their 3 day course and learned everything about the Fuel Tech and you became more familiar with it I think you would end up liking it more than any other ECU out there especially their FT600 and their new FT700 Vision+ or whatever it is and they just came out with a new Air/Fuel and Wideband gauge all in one deal and I know if I had the money to build a car from the ground up and had the money to invest in a complete Fuel Tech system I would outfit my car with every single sensor and gauge and button panel that Fuel Tech has to offer and the thing I like the most about Fuel Tech is that you can take your car to them and have them wire it up for you from start to finish and after it's done you can throw it on their dyno and get the car completely dialed in right there and then they will even go to the track with you to dial it in at the track and then from there on out it's not like you're left high and dry if you need help with something on the car or if you have a problem with something on the car or have a simple question about something you can call them and get a live person on the phone and they will answer your questions right there and if your system is giving you any trouble you just disconnect it and send it to them and they will fix it and send it back and the reason that tuners are so good with the Holley system is because they have to be because they are on their own from day one

Great video! question regarding you not doing bonsai pulls on the dyno. I recently spent a lot of time on my car on a non-loaded Dyno jet until I was completely happy with the way the plugs looked. it did have a little more time in than what most folks run with my combo, but the plugs looked great. only 8 PSI coolant pressure, get to the track where the car is loaded and now I have 20. I'm assuming that's the difference in the load

@Real Good At Doin' Stuff!!! Is he finally going to put aluminum rods in Leroy's engine or is he going to stay with I beam rods because that is one of his biggest limiting factors on that engine among a few other parts I'm glad that he gave it to you for you to put your hands on it and brains in it I mean Texas Speed is a great engine builder but they build cookie cutter mass production engines that anyone and everyone can buy but they are all limited to live life at around 1800hp or less and that's it and even though Leroy weighs less than alot of other stick shift cars he still needs to have 2200hp+ in order to get to where he wants to be with that car and he's not going to achieve that with the current engine combo he really needs around 2500hp+ to be able to run up front with the guys that currently are at the top of the stick shift class and he'll never achieve that with a cookie cutter engine
