Me too, and my friends Chris and Dave. Great show. Most expensive Fugazi ticket I ever paid for - I remember it cost $15 at Boscov's Ticketmaster window...

Been listening to a lot of Fugazi in recent months. Love the intensity of Ian and Guy, which is kept firmly in balance with the no nonsense rhythm of Joe and Brendan. IMO, it's simply art at its very best.

Supreme thanks to whoever posted this, but also to the sound man at this show for recording in beautiful wide-stereo. The sound is perfect for this band. Love to this band perennially, and to those who documented and now circulate their live performances in whatever medium is at hand. With much detriment to our present moment, those performances are forever in a past that is permanently foreign, unknown---all the memory of which is utterly and fundamentally gone.

I figured he broke it in Happy Go Licky or something. There's footage of the Rites Of Spring and One Last Wish shows where he throws it around. I can't believe it's in one piece. He couldn't have gotten another those are so expensive. Nice to see they can take a beating tho

Back in the day music was about being non conformist, and we were part of that, now everybody is watching comedy all day long and taking pictures of their irrelevant lives, where did all that go?

@@roblivorr7523 yes, I am different, I'm superior, I fly in the sky, visit planets and all that shit. I'm not talking about you tube, no problem with watching you tub all day, I'm talking about too much comedy, focus man. But I mean comedy as a lifestyle, no problemo in small doses. But that is what you have in your plate, in fact is what the media put in your plate. I understand comedians raise important questions about this fcked up society but ok lemme reach the bottom. IMO music is the only thing that makes sense in life, and everything else exist in excess...so.

"Back in the day music was about being non-conformist..." I love when people make these kinds of dimwitted statements. This show was filmed in 1997, back when boy bands and nu-metal were prevalent pop culture phenomena. Absolutely nothing is different, save for the technology and advent of social media. Swap out boy bands and nu-metal with k-pop groups and mumble rap. Just because you got old and stopped going to shows like this doesn't mean bands of Fugazi's ilk don't still tour and adhere to a largely DIY ethic.
