Fugees is not the original. The song was known several years before. I haven´t found the version of Donald Mc Lean: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_Me_Softly_with_His_Song But here is Roberta Flack´s version quite close in time (from 1973): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oZpxaLumsuDDhKs.html The title sound close to "Killen med soffan" (in Swedish) which means "The guy with the sofa". It was a nice performance and voice, keep on going !!

This song was originally sang by Roberta Flack and is much better than the Fugees version. That being said I love alexander’s version much better than the Fugees.
