Right on, good choice. I use NanoTechs 40-90C, but honestly just about any one over 30C is probably going to last you for a couple of years of weekend flying. 40C is nice for EDFs and high-draw motors. Choose one with your preferred connector attached if possible. The Fuglyjet does nicely with 2200mAh 3s, but 1500-2500mAh would be within limits. I'd go lighter than heavier though.

That battery in a 3-cell is exactly what I recommend with this motor, and a 9x5 or 9x6 prop will give you lots of power. I am testing that motor right now. Look for the video in a few days.

I,m concerned that my ESC will let go and be eaten by the EDF. What do you recommend to hold it in place. And do you mount the reciever?

I'm new to the area and I've ordered all the requirement for flying except for the battery. IMAX B6-AC Charger/Discharger 1-6 Cells (GENUINE) is going to be my charger. what kind of battery do you suggest that are available in the US warehouse in hobbyking so I can order them with cheap price.
