This is the best comparison video of these four cameras I’ve seen - and I believe the more serious photographer who wants to use a hybrid Instax camera would definitely be considering these four. Sadly, Fuji has done what so many companies do: introduce a good quality initial product (SQ10), then in follow-on products reduce the quality, lower the specifications, while adding dubious improvements. The video frame grab of the SQ20 is the only real improvement. At 15:46 your summary of the perfect camera makes sense - I hope Fuji is listening. Aside from my many film and digital cameras, my choice for Instax was the Neo 90. It gives me the controls I want, but in practical use it’s not spontaneous.

Thank you for comparison. Heard about these cameras and always wanted to know difference. Now after watching your video. I like all of them and yet none of them completely would be satisfying... I like some things there and some there... but anyway in my country almost impossible to buy it (we have mini 11 and sq6 here, but I like to save and edit) and now one want to send, because of the war. Will hope when war is over they will make something better and new... until that will watch videos like that. Thanks again!

I think that the square format hybrid cameras are closer to the instant film output from a regular instant camera, while the mini format hybrid cameras are just too digital looking for me. Fuji instant film is kind of more digital-esque than say Polaroid film. But maybe the SQ20 having a weaker lens is actual a deliberate decision to keep the output more soft/more like tradtional instant film ? I was torn between the two square formats but even though the 20 doesn't have a tripod socket I am willing to sacrifice that due to the ability to skim through videos for perfect frames... really great for street photography and sports. All in all, seems sq10 is the best of the bunch with replaceable battery to boot.

Is the sq10 the only one with both automatic and manual print modes?

Hi, do you happen to know any reason why my sq20 printing darker than it supposed to be? I didnt change or use any effects on them. Before print the picture in the screen looks fine (bright) but after printing, it appear darker. Hope you can give an advice. Thanks a lot
