No problem at all hope it was helpful. Honestly I haven't really had much of an issue with banding at all. I assume this is after rendering your videos, just be careful with how much you adjust the color and brightness of the sky when grading as this is what can cause it. It could also be down to your render settings to though.

@@MacnTeensVisuals actually I sometimes get banding right out of the camera - all it takes is a sunny summer day with some contrasty scenario. No log, just some standard profile and a nicely gradient blue sky. What actually made me look for your video was a talking head shot against a 18% grey wall - as soon as Fuji found the face and began following focus on it - there was an ugly jumping banding on that wall. 8 bit is enough for everyone till once it’s not exactly enough :)

It's really difficult at times with the cold but when you get some nice shots it's worth it after haha No problem at all, hope it helped make sense of things a bit better. Yeah I think that is the best choice the files look amazing. Cheers as always 😀✌

Hey there, thanks appreciate it. Hope it was helpful to you. So yeah there is quite a file size difference. I am not totally sure how much there is between 1080 & 4K but the difference between 4K 8Bit & 4K 10 Bit is almost double the file size, so quite a big difference haha

Honestly I am not totally sure :/ lol It automatically increases it when you use F-Log and all it does is increase the minimum ISO but I can't remember if I did for these shots.

Hey there! That seems like a great little kit you have there. Personally I don't ever use F-Log because the 200mb video files work so nicely. I'm not sure what you use your camera for but you probably don't really need F-Log either. You cannot use 4K30fps for slow motion because there isn't enough frames to slow things down. The X-T20 to X-T3 would be a great upgrade though as the X-T3 has got a lot of other extra features ( I would recommend getting a used one btw) Hope that helps.

Hey there! So you can record 10 Bit 4:2:0 internal which is like a smaller 10 bit file kind of. To record 10 bit 4:2:2 which is bigger and has a wider color range you need an external monitor.

Hey, Yes I believe if you wanted to really see the difference in camera then I think you would need a monitor. I was just able to see the difference while colour grading in Premiere Pro 👍

No we we don't use F-Log currently. We always shoot in 4K 200MB files using the Astia Soft film simulation. And yes we do use polarisors or ND filters during the day 👍🏼
