I have to thank you for posting this disassembly, tremendously helpful even without instruction. The ribbon cable on my lcd tore and am hopeful of doing the replacement myself now! Looks like I only need to open it up and the ribbon cable attaches right there, without having to dig too deep.

Hello, I have a short question: if I only want to remove the IR filter, do I really need to solder out these cables to reach the sensor unit? Until that point it looks okay, but I would be really happy to avoid any soldering job. Thanks!

more or less could you say how much could cost a replacement of the shutter? Tomorrow I will send mine to Portugal from Canary Islands and it seems to have the same problem. The shutter is locked while I was doing some panoramics.
