Excuse me, my X-T5 is in the AF-C continuous focus mode. When the shutter is half-pressed, the brightness of the camera screen will be relatively dim. When the shutter is released, it will be restored. Is there a setting error? Do you have the same situation, thank you for your answer.

I think it's closing the aperture and it may depend on the environment. Check af-c with the largest aperture of the lens and see if the problems repeats.

There is a new version of the firmware (1.04) - The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the brightness of the preview image in the EVF was changing dramatically depending on the brightness of the subject while half pushing the shutter button by setting “FOCUS MODE” to “AF-C”.

Hi, i am wondering. Is it possible to get framelines instead off the digital zoom in evf while you use the digital converter. So instead of the EVF show a zoomed in crop, you can keep the frame and get framelines for the desired crop? Kind of like a Rangefinder style? I think the Leica Q has this function.

Great video 👌 can you test the eye auto focusing please as some photographers are saying that eye focusing is always out of focus even though the camera shows on green box confirming it’s in focus

Yes, I see that too.. is not great as Sony, and it hits or focuses on the eyelash. And also you get some false positives. But I hope with new firmware to get improved - but there is a big improvement compared to the X-PRO3/X-E4 AF. I feel that the problem can be resolved via firmware updates... but we will see if that will happen...

Dear Tudor. Is the face detect as good as the old A6000? I have found that perfectly adequate for general and street photography! If the XT5 is any better than the A6000/A6400, then it is good enough for street work!!

Good video. Una question, can you reduce the MPs without sacrificing images quality, for those casual pics what does need to have much MPs? For more processional images, 40Mps os ok, but my kids 25 o so Mps is more than enough.... Is that possible in the XT5? Thanks.

You can shoot just jpeg and set the resolution smaller or medium. This is what I'm doing for family picture. I keep the jpegs and delete the raw files. Also the raw files can be converted on the computer to .DNG format - I'll do a video about it. Thanks for the question!
