Are you saying i can shoot videos on it at 3200 iso without getting a lot noise? I am actually planning to buy this camera but i cannot see any videos or articles of it in which they test lowlight video of this camera. I am wondering if i can shoot some good videos on my 18-55 2.8-4 lens at night.

@@param2014 yes, but only when using flog2 log profile though, the second gain iso is at iso 3200, you can push iso 4000 and still have a great image though might need to clean it a bit in post if client requires a cleaner image though most do like the organic noise pattern generated by the x trans sensor, I would recommend a brighter lens though or you can go the better route and grab a speed booster with a Tamron 14-70mm f2.8 used, that that would be a killer low light combination for any type of video work as the speed booster would eliminate the 1.5x crop factor and retain an extra stop of light. (As a reference it's brighter than an f2 crop lens while retaining a variable zoom focal length that covers about 3 prime lenses) the setup is a bit bulky but offers a great tool for documentary or event shooting where you don't have control over the lighting situation (add a variable ND-cpl and if you want a promist,black mist haze filter and you have a versatile lens that has a unique characteristic and look and would fare well in most shooting scenarios) been shooting with Fuji for 2 years now, I think I'm sticking to the system as it fits my work and in most scenarios I light my scenes so Iso for me is used more of a stylistic choice but still I really value having the second gain. Donnu why Fuji doesn't advertise it, it's been this way since the xt3 and that baffles me, many of us would appreciate this feature, I know it came in clutch for me on several occasions when shooting slow Mo in insufficient sunlight for a sports real. The only down side to the xs20 is the lack of directional front buttons, which makes it a bit tricky to navigate for some key buttons, manual WB, push to focus, zebra, punch in zoom, focus mode switch, ibis focal chooser/I use most of my lenses in manual mode/ , ibis on off, slow Mo toggle, flicker toggle. The 4 extra buttons in the front really made a big difference for me at least, but every shooter is different I guess.

Thank you very much for your support. It's really nice to know you like my grading, as of now, I still haven't settle on a certain way of grading my video yet, for this video I used Dehancer, let me play around with colour more and make a tutorial later down the line.

hey @@kenyudoit after coming back to your video to check your grades, I was wondering if you shot this in F-LOG or F-LOG 2! Really curious on your findings. I saw your other video and I assume you used F-LOG 2?

yes I was shooting in F-log2, and I shoot with -4 sharpness and -4 Noise Reduction, I find that give a little more noise but the overall image is more organic @@bangovic

I mainly use vintage lens, I used the canon nFD 24mm f2.8 and 35mm f2.8 in this video

I don't personally own a canon R7, but i have used canon camera at work before. I would say if you shoot JPEG, Fuji give the most flexibility to change settings in camera, Sony's colour is the worst straight out of camera, but if you shoot RAW then i think they are very similar. I don't shoot long video personally, if I shoot 6k outdoor short street style videos (20 sec each clip), after around 30 mins the camera starts to warm up, but it didn't turn off due to overheating.

I think between the X-S series and a6600, I will pick the fuji because for family photos i am guessing you don't want to do a lot of post editing and the Sony colour straight out of camera is not as good as fuji. between the X-S10 and X-S20 i think it is base on the price you can get them, fuji auto-focus depends heavily on the lens, with the kit lens XF18-55 f2.8-f4 is the best zoom lens for auto-focus, and AFS perform a lot better then AFC. So, if your budget allows the X-S20 will serve you for a few years before you want to upgrade, but If you can find a good deal on the X-S10 you would be very happy too, i hope this help!

Considering my small child, AF could be very important. Do you think afs is good enough to take photos of child? Or afc is a must for child photos? Thanks again

I haven't used the fuji version of the sigma 18-50 myself, but I might pick one up very soon, according to other reviewer, the auto focus is quite good. I have been using fuji for a few years and I have always use AFS, it works quite well with the burst mode, I usually do Low burst for 4-5 photo per second, because I don't want to have thousands of photos on one photoshoot 😁.

Hey there! I had this problem as well with the XC 15-45 mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Lens on X-S20 and had to return the camera. I had it inspected by a professional and exchanged it with the XF 18-50 lens. He said it should not be having that problem.

Hello, with fujifilm, the autofocus performance depends a lot of which lens you use, I have the XC 15-45 f3.5-f5.6 like @adventuresofstephie and that hunts quite a bit. In my experiences, the XF 18-55 f2.8-f4 is the best zoom lens for AF-C. The other kit lens, XF 16-80 f4 is really bad for AF-C, for prime lens, 16mm f2.8 and 23mm f2 have good AF-C performance. @@adventuresofstephie I have the same lens on it right now, still have the issue. Got the camera replaced because of button that was not working. Both camera's had it!

It is either a really fast truck or as somebody pointed out its due to the 6k recording, will do some more testing soon.
