I was going to order the neewer however I came across the X5 and saw similar specs and figured it was the same product so I was able to pick up the Fulaim V for the same price without a pre-order or wait I picked it up earlier this week and will be recording the first time this weekend

I noticed different companies selling the very same outdoor gear (stoves, titanium pots and pans,…) a while ago. I thought a company was changing their name for some obscure reason, now this makes much more sense. Thanks.

Bought my Fulaim X5 2 months ago because I see it pop up on alot of the reviews. But I couldn't find a whole lot about the company, so I wasn't sure if they were a reputable company. Then I saw Newer, which was a company I'm more familiar with. Thanks for clearing this up.

This is good info to know. I am thinking about getting a wireless mic system and Neewer was one of the three I am considering. And because of the cheap price, I wondered if it was a Chinese manufacturer product.

Thanks for explaining something I’ve been wondering about ever since I began the search to replace my Comica Vemo C 3 wireless system. My Mailada/Fulaim X5 arrived a couple days ago and I’ve yet to unbox it. At the time of this comment the Tosicam Mailada X 5 was $119.99 on Amazon. I’m replacing my Comica system because it lacks a few features that I didn’t know I needed until seeing them on the X 5.

Fulaim I own the lowest paid $73.00. years agon the hybrid cameras all did the same example Aiptek ranger used their name. Han-shing, digilife, and Polaroid and yes Aiptek were the same camera.. Like cars we see, may also go under a different name, saturn had a Honda engine and ford had hte same honda glass the crv and escape. great job in explainign

So I import product directly from china and you would be surprised that some of your favorite brands all use the same manufacturer. But he’s the difference, these manufacturers have grades they produce these products in (Grad A to Grade F). The higher the grade, the more expensive and the better the quality and quality control. Long story short, this creates a scenario where 2 companies are selling the same looking product but with their individual brand name and one is more expensive. Now that is enough to say the cheaper option won’t work, but sometimes they have poor quality control and even different materials or subpar standards, but they work just as well and even sometimes supersede their grades.

One question, in terms of quality of materials, how do you see these fulaim x5 compared to brands like boya, hollyland or DJI, will the materials of the fulaim be good since they are so cheap? Hello, thanks for this video. As someone who has been in the audio space specifically the chinese IEM and chinese TWS space for a while let me tell you some more things about how these or some white label companies work. How i know about this? Well i have spoken to some people in the industry and some odm and oem manufacturers. But still take my writing with a bit of salt. Lets take the fulaim x5 as an example (and by example i mean for making you understanding the situation and i am not trekking that fulaim works this way). While you were spot on about everything. What you should also know is that those white label manufacturers also has some white lable manufacturers for them, what do i mean by that? Well the microphone capsule they use. I can 80% gurantee you that they come from a separate odm manufacturers whose only job is to make microphone capsule and they sell that to other manufacturers. The microphone furry things could also come from some other white label manufacturers, same for the usb c dongles for connections. Or sometimes an odm is large enough to make it themselves in the house. The battery is almost the same thing. Also what happens sometimes is, you can buy a similar looking and similar in tech product with minor changes from different odm. Lets say xyz odm saw that zhizng making this wireless mic they soon launch an operation into making a similar product at an even cheaper price. And this is the reason why sometimes you see many chinese product looking the same but the one from certain established companies will be a bit better than some. White label manufacturers like this work long hours and they live quite stressfull life in many cases. Because they invest a lot in manufcturing and unless they keep on selling its hard for them to stay profitable. Hence you see so many new produt being lanched. The constant product launches helps the manufacturers and even the companies you see on amazon etc. There is also called as drop shipping manufacturers where in you can from the comfort of your own home make a product from odm, ship it to your customers and someties even handle the customer care from the white label companies. Some white label compnies also help you offer these services. One of the reasons why you see broken english sometimes from these companies when speaking to customer service. Usa is the most important market for these manufacturers. Then with uk, germany, canada in no such order. Many companies start like this in china. But once they grow big they can establish their own factories etc but even these big companies still keep certain aspects of their production from white label companies. Some people might know might already know these or not. Hope it helped a bit in understanding this. Again do take these witha grain of salt as i am some random person on the internet and i could be wrong. But this what inhave heard from the people i have spoken too.

As with a lot of manufacturing there is usually one "factory" and you can create your own brand through them. I was looking into RC cars a while back and found several cars that looked identical except for the paint and name. After a little digging I found they were all made by the same factory. I contacted them and for a reasonable MOQ of 5000 cars I could pick a color and name and it would even be a custom box included.

Interesting. Where I am in Southern Europe amazon only sell the Neewer. Amazon UK sell neewer and fulaim. The UK price is a little cheaper on there. I just bought and returned the Holyland M1 lark as it did not come with lightening or USB c cables for iPhone/ipad. I was looking at the Max version but this is half the price and looks similar in features.

I've noticed a ton of this white label stuff on Amazon, especially in the electronics. A number of the brands are from China.

Happens all the time just often not as noticeable as this ie. the products change enough that people don't notice they are the same. But in this case nothing apart from the logo appears to have changed

I hate what the chinese have done. You see hundreds of the same product on amazon under different names. I would spend hours scrolling through essentially identical items relisted over and over and over. Of course I have to click all of them to see the difference. I miss the days when you only have two choices.
