Took a few "music appreciation" classes in college. One of the first people we studied was Nick Gilder and this album. Really, this man was an incredible talent, and excellent song writer. My professors had nothing but good things to say about him. I have this CD and I love this song.

Nick Gilder is a really good guy! Met him recently and he is brilliant but very down to earth.

THANK YOU ! ....I love this song.it reminds me of living in Studio City ,1978...going to the Starwood to see Nick and his great band....This whole album is superb, a rock-pop masterpiece,but this song really nails it....so great !

Very cool. Did you happen to see him play at the John Anton Ford Theatre in the Hollywood Hills that year? Great show!

if I had a wish , it would be that I could go back to the late 70's * early 80's & live , start out in 1975 & end in 1985

correction I wanna start in 1975 & end in 2000 & then start over again with 1975 , would never have to see 2001

Thanks for putting this up. It just popped ito my head, probably have not heard it in over 30 years. Surprised it was posted. But I knew I couldn't be the only one that thought it was a great song. Now if I could remember the girl it reminds me of.

it should have been the second single released to capitalize on the traction gained by Hot Child's massive airplay.
