In this first Vox Transmission of Traitor Primarch we shall herald the deeds of the Pheonician of Chemos: Fulgrim.
Primarch of the Emperor's Children, Fulgrim would lead his aristocratic exemplars of the Imperium as a kind and noble warrior prior to his descent into madness.
Damned by the daemon possessed Laer Blade, Fulgrim would lead his Legion into the clutches of Slaanesh and transcend into the form of a Daemon Prince obsessed with perfection and the pursuit of pleasure...

_'Enough,'_ Fulgrim said, his voice like quiet thunder. The crowd fell silent. _'This is not seemly, my sons. Are you children, to brawl in front of strangers?'_ _'My lord, the Spider-'_ Telmar hesitated, seeing Fulgrim's expression. _'Apothecary Fabius has insulted my person. I would have satisfaction.'_ His hand fell to the hilt of his sword. Fulgrim sighed. _'And how has he insulted you?'_ _'By comparing me - comparing us - to these... primitives,'_ Telmar said, glancing at Thorn, who nodded. Fulgrim frowned. _'And why should he not?'_ Fulgrim looked around, noting the mood of the crowd. They were on the cusp of flight. Telmar's sudden burst of violence had frightened them, shaken them to their very cores. Stories would spread, flying through the city, and from there, the rest of the continent. Awe would turn to fear. Fear to resentment. And resentment to resistance. He has seen the same story, repeated ad nauseam, on a dozen worlds. Fulgrim had always preferred love to fear. Love was stronger. Fear could be conquered, but love - never. It waned and swelled, but it never truly faded. He had made himself loved on Chemos. And he would do the same here. The primarch sank to one knee and reached down to help Telmar's victim to his feet. The man stared at him with mingled fright and awe, his mouth working soundlessly. Fulgrim smiled and stood. _'I came from nothing.'_ he said, fixing his sons with a steady gaze. _'I scrabbled in the quarry pits, and down in the deepest mines, carrying buckets on my shoulder because the ascender blew a gasket. I broke my fingernails on raw ore, and grew blisters from heat and labour. You look down on them, blind to the beauty of their struggle. Blind to what they might become, if only someone would scrape the filth from their faces.'_ He reached down and lifted a child onto his shoulders. The girl laughed and clapped, unafraid of the giant, even as her mother wept. Fulgrim indicated the crowd. His voice had driven many of them to their knees. _'Look at them, my sons. You are the highest, and they, the lowest. It is your duty to raise them up, as high as they will go. Anything less is not worthy of you.'_

I love how the abstract conceptual true form of fulgrim in the warp once the clone was made said "WOOOOOOO" and jumped straight into the new uncorrupted avatar lmao.

That's how I see it, the primarchs have souls/warp concepts that can be corrupted (Mortarion, Angron, Magnus) or destroyed (Horus). So technically the new body is a clone, but the "Fulgrim-ness" is the original soul, because as I see it, Fulgrim was possessed by the Laer Blade rather than his essence being corrupted. Perhaps, when it is time for the Emperor's Children to get their codex and time to shine, Daemon Fulgrim and Clone body Fulgrim can fight over the Primarch soul that Fulgrim is, I think that would make for a very compelling story!

Just for his own ego to trip him up again. Fulgrim was low-key one of the most gullible, and therefor stupid of primarchs. Why would his clone be different?

Fulgrim's fall is so tragic. Not only because of the loss of a brother and son, but a loss to all of humanity. Fulgrim may just have been the brightest star out of all of his sons (with the exception of Horus before his fall), he just didn't have the opportunity to catch up to his brothers. Chaotic circumstances had beeen subtley manipulating him from the beginning. His capsule, name, wounded pride at a diminished legion, and a burning need to prove himself that came from it; all of these things were (in my mind) intentional tampering with the upbringing of what could have been the greatest of the primarchs. And Chaos took that bright star and tainted it. Made the best turn into the worst.

@Artimata Kurze hated Corax because he felt like even though they were so similar,Corvus was respected as a freedom fighter and Kurze was treated as a butcher even though Corvus used similar tactics. He was just better...and less murdery which is always a quick way to scare people away.

@@commissaryarrick9670 Dorn got beaten by Peter Turbo, Fulgrim wounded Perterabo. My headcannon is the Primarchs cant be labeled as weakest or strongest. They were just built to fill certain roles. Which made each excel at fighting certain Primarchs, and losing to other ones. -That or it depends on who the writer favors in the encounter.

the only Primarch to take control of his homeworld WITHOUT VIOLENCE. He made life worth living again on Chemos and they loved him for it. god Fulgrim really got shafted by the lore. that is why i love him and not The Pefect BOI Sanguinus. what if Fulgrim had landed on a forgeworld?

I have an interesting theory and I would like your knowledge. Using the Plants of Death (trees, roots and branches) of the Domain of Thanatos from God of War Ghost of Sparta as an example, could the Circle of Vanity be a Forest of Bone (with the fragrant air of Death)? Or does it work better as Coral with Seaweed (example the Sea Gardens of the Laer)?

Fulgrim held all 4 blades back with his one sword. "Pathetic. If you really were me,even sanguinus himself would hesitate to fight you were he still alive. You are a mockery of me,as are all the monsters who wear my brothers faces. The Ancient has Waited long enough and i deliver upon you the vengeance that the emporors children crave!" Casting the blades back,fulgrim dominated the snake with his prowess. No pride. No showmanship. Simple,brutal and merciless technique,as fire blazed around fulgrim. "I am Fulgrim. I am the master of the Palatine host. I am the pheonix! I am the holy fire that fan not be quenched! I am the Primarch of the Emporors Children! I AM THE TRUE FULGRIM,THE SON OF THE EMPOROR WHO SITS UPON TERRAS GOLDEN THRONE! I NAME YOU THE THIRSTING FOLLY SNAKE! I AM |||||||||||||!" Fulgrim invoked his true name. All of the primarchs are gods in flesh, mythical heroes in there own way. And all of them possess a name that is there nature. Some did not find there true name,while some were so powerful and known that they never needed one. The true name of the phenocian is the name the emporor originaly intended,for fulgrim was a pheonix in more then metaphor. It was literal. And the totality of this reality was made praxis in realspace for the briefest of moments. But to a creature of slannesh,it was suffering of the worst kind. Fire that burned so hot,even the soul becomes ash,then the ash becomes nothing. The daemon prince was dead, his body was dead,his soul was dead, and his corpse would die as well. Guiliman and the lion felt this scream of defiance across the galaxy,the roar of a true name. The scream of a pheonix reborn. Guiliman felt conflicted,but also relieved. The lion was relieved,but always weary. Fulgrim the pheonician has died. The primarch who remains,is the being his father had always wanted him to be. A fire aganst the dark. The renewer. The Pheonix.

Meh, Slaanish is a cowardly, weak god. Grandfather Nurgle is the only master worthy of my reverence. OOC though, 40K has got some amazing lore. Good guys, bad guys, daemons, humans, and xenos, they're all awesome to me!
