Fulgur is so good at helping people who have their phobias triggered. He did the same for Uki when his trypophobia was triggered on stream. A truly great friend.

Omg that's exactly what happened to me too ueueue TTTT he was so quick to address the situation and immediately asked question to calm Ike down and choose the best strategy to help, while being super calm and respectful from the start.... like just from the way he speaks you can tell he is such a respectable and reliable person, we all love Fuuchan so so much fr fr TT

@siel39 yes! as someone who has arachnophobia and thalassophobia i really appreciate addressing the situation and calming the person first, then choosing the best strategy to help them TT he is a good friend and his presence makes me feel comfortable🥹

I love how Fulgur addresses the situation so....like the way he talks wouldn't make you feel judged or embarrassed in seeking help, he only asks questions to make sure the best way to help. Time and time again so many other livers have talked about how much speaking to Fuchan has helped them behind the scenes but never once will he bring it up or brag about himself. He's just so kind and it really shines through

I saw this live, and I was so touched by how Fulgur just immediately came to Ike's aid without question, and repeatedly assured him it was okay when Ike kept apologizing for his phobia. If there is anyone I would trust to do this for Ike, it's Fulgur. It gave me a whole new level of appreciation for him. Fulgur truly is a real one, and Comfydants should be proud to have such a kind oshi. ❤ Thank you so much, Fuuchan, for being there for my boi.

@@wolfofsummerbreeze Ever since i was a kid i always found big bells quite scary, and as I've grown up the fear of them just gets worser. I'm not sure why but whenever i see a big bell, weather in real life or in game i get sweaty, shaky, heavy breathing, and get a bit teary eyed. If i hear the bell it makes all of that even worse and i feel like screaming and crying. I'm not sure on were my fear stems from so I'm sorry i could provide an answer on that, but just seeing them and hearing it sends my into a panic. The fear even confuses me because I'm not even fully sure on why. I hope you have a great day/ night.

Is it relative to the size and sound? For example, could a cruise, since it's big and it makes noise, scare you? ( Not necessarily a cruise just a big boat idk i just had it in mind )or maybe it's because of the vibrations? The deep metallic noise I don't know how to describe but it could cause a feeling of anxiety and fear, something that gives goosebumps? I'm simply interested I wanna understand phobias, if you can't really describe why you're scared of it it's fine ! Have a good day/night !

I’m glad that the quildren warned Ike that a bell is ahead so he doesn’t freak out and Fulgur helping him though it calmly. Fulgur is so sweet to people with phobias, especially Uki with his phobia.

Idk if it's just me but the way I see it it's like Fuuchan is the one that everyone simply looks up to even if he's not their oshi because he looks after their oshis so well If fuuchan is there we know all is well for our oshis And if their oshi is not there then Fuuchan is there as their source of comfort

Ever since Ike's irrational fear been made known, I have been very aware of big bells in that shape or sound. In every single media I watch or listen to I will subconsciously remind myself "oh Ike's not gonna be able to enjoy that without interruption" and get torn on how sad that is for people who shares the same irrational fear. My irrational fear is vomiting. Being nauseous makes me anxious. It's a cycle of nausea, I haven't puke for anything for more than a decade now

Yeah sounds and the object itslef,similar sounds are also uncomfortable for him but not as much as the exact sound/look

Ur so valid. Listen they can be really fluttery and fast and scary! It's a valid phobia that I kind of have though my fear is more generalized "A bug is on me and I feel it's legs" phobia,,,, I get ur fears and I sit with you. Idk if you get enough validation so by the gods I'm gonna give you some. Phobias are NOT fun. 💙💙💙💙

I respect fuuchan so much for the way he helps his friends. I’m being completely honest but if he were to help me through some games like this it would probably help. I’m like, VERY afraid and terrified of like anything that sounds like a gunshot so im not able to play all of those fun games everyone else plays so it’s pretty hard for me to get closer to my friends because they all really like playing games.

I relate to both here. If theres a phobia I have trouble with I’d rather have company. Though when friends have fears or panic attacks I am there and try to sing through it to distract them, make them sing along with me, or ask how we deal with it before searching for a way to distract them and reassuring them, while they get through it.

I honestly didn't know Ike had a literal fear of bells I was thinking it was a bell thst goes off and alerts other enemies (Note that I found Nijisani after XSOLEIL debutted, so I didn't even see Ike's debut)

Is the phobia worse for Ike when he sees the bells more than just hearing them? Like, would he not be able to listen to songs like Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" due to his phobia?

His phobia will come with the realistic giant bell/ big church bell. I think it would be just as bad if it was a realistic big bell, but Ike used to say that if he heard it far away, it could be tolerated As for the song, he used to say that he often remembered that it was a synthetic sound from somewhere, so he didn’t feel afraid of it because he knew it wasn‘t really from the real bell

Having a phobia does not mean being afraid of things that most people find frightening.The fear depends on the individual, Some people's fears start from past events or experiences, but for some people their fears arise acutely for no reason. There are many types of phobias, you can googling for more info
