JuJu is good enough now to carry a team through the tournament and win it all. She makes freshman mistakes but they're tolerable ones that come from a mindset of relentless aggression based on supreme confidence. It will be so fun to watch JuJu navigate through her first NCAA Tournament. Good luck beating her team in a game she really wants to win. Casuals who still don't know who JuJu is by now are going to be so shook when they see her for the first time during the tournament.

She got the benefit of a no-call in regulation that would have ended her night. She wouldn't have been around for the 2 OTs. It was an obvious foul and the ref was right there in position to call it. Watkins is one of the faces of women's college ball and will be a force in the WNBA. I think she has a legitimate shot to break Caitlin Clark's scoring record if she plays 4 years.

#25 on usc should’ve been called multiple times for the push off. Every drive she takes, she pushes off. Reffing was garbage. Juju should’ve fouled out many times.

I love both teams, franchises, and organizations I was more than rooting for both of them. It is so always very, very sad, and heartbreaking for any of them to lose. The problem with USC is they are clueless Juju is option one. A good coach would inform her team we play thru Juju period. She needs to hog the ball her team-mates suck. Number 25 takes horrible shots she will jack up garbage on scramble plays when she can reset. 13 the center I have seen dead people with better movement, and she has hands of stone. They are better than they were at the beginning of the season I think it is sinking in, but they will refer back to thinking they are option 1. I like Juju game, but she will not go far with this team and coach ever.

I agree Forbes does jack up shots sometimes, but I think USC players are well aware that offense runs through Juju… which is cool but her usage rate is nuts. If her team was more consistent USC wouldn’t have to rely on her so much.

@@jerseyjoe82364Gamecocks get their players through the portal, which is another way of when a Pro team go out and sign every all star player there is. We used to call it buying a championship, now I think we call it ring chasing. Its good for tv, but when any of the girls make it to the WNBA and play on a losing team how good will they be than. are the players good or is it because your on a team that has several all star players.

It only counts as an assist if the bucket is made. There were several missed buckets.

There was also a really awesome play where JuJu found the player down low and that player drew the defense quickly and dumped it to the player left alone. Doesn’t count as an assist for JuJu. it was a beautiful play by all of them. I think JuJu makes great read for her first year against so much talent.
