Hmm on my point of view, I think that those children had a financial disadvantage and were victims of the senior children who also were in that disadvantage but found a way to separate themselves from the newcomers. The new students who came in didn't want to accept being a mule or jumping to every command of the seniors however they knew they they were outnumbered and wouldn't gain any sort of respect on their own and that is why they were seeking help from the locals to obtain just a well deserved respect for being a human being trying to survive poverty. I agree they made the wrong decisions but I think they made these decisions unknowingly as almost every scene was truly shocking and a new experience for them. I thought it was a true shame that they were exposed to so many negative things and they felt trapped in which they essentially were trapped as they dug themselves too deep while trying to escape studying in fear, it soon turned into living in fear. So the question from me to you is.... what would you do in their situation then?

@@MoomersReaction yes you got it well, i dont know about your country, but in India when new people joins collage there is something called ragging, what they showed here was a bit extreme, usually seniors will make you dance or do some acts and that all, but here it was too extreme and they planned revenge, usually normally they become good firends after ragging but sometimes its a big problem, cause some of them have committed suici**
