I took a vacation to 1/48 scale aircraft to learn how to scribe panel lines and make my own rivets.

I’m mainly a 1/35 armour modeller,but I branched off and tried the ICM He-111 and it was sort of fun to build but the landing gear was really fragile,however it was an experience worth a try. :)

Very impressive! Can you please explain the exact weathering technique you’ve used? Did you use enamel paints with thinner? If so, what were the products exactly?

Also, on what varnish did you apply the weathering? Gloss, semi-gloss, matt?

I used Mike Rinaldi's O.P.R or oil paint rendering technique. You can find more comprehensive videos on his channel about the technique. thanks for watching

Please help me , on question 1 when I says don't glue the 2 fuselage half's I don't see why not and I was wondering what you did

Just make sure the nose weights and cockpit are in and painted before you glue them together. hope that helps.

nicely done I'm just starting this A10 next week same one and I think you're color scheme is good I don't like the camouflage scheme

Got a quick question what did you use for your scribing of your panel lines as a guide? That's what I struggle with all the time.

Yeah I had a hard time with it as well. I started with a metal ruler and then decided to use the raised lines as a guide and just eyeballed it. It got easier with practice but overall it wasn't tons of fun. Hope that's helpful, good luck!
