I'm so curious about this even if it should be obvious; what happens to the wax you scrape and put back in the liquid? Does it melt down again? Have you ever had it mix colors?

yes it does melt. that wax is hot! it also alters the color (slightly) to make it more to the correct color! that's why some white could go into blue, for example, to make it lighter!

@@corpsedevilI believe their wax melts at a lower temperature than most, as she can stick her hand in without being burnt :)

She did that because the piece had too much yellow on it. White as a color is very easily changed so even the slightest amount could completely change the color
