The C8 is already a lightweight body there's hardly any weight reduction gains to substantiate the cost. Bragging rights on the other hand he's got that on lock down. LOL

How much weight was shaved off? Power to weight ratio definitely improved by a lot! Looking at the Launch it can take a lot more even on the those thin tires!

I don't know, maybe it's just me but I don't care to look at carbon fiber. I'd rather have it painted in a stunning way and just know that the material underneath the paint was the lightest/strongest material there was for the application.
