I am an old school gym beast. Obi I really like how you explain each of your exercise videos and I really like how you do not use excessive amount of weight to achieve the body that you have. By looking at you I see now that I can use body weight like push-ups to achieve the chest that I would like to have. I will be 55 on my next birthday. I would like to explode on the beach seen looking marvelous by this time next year. Thank for all of your videos. Be bless you thunder cat!!!

Another great video as always! My question is how do naturals know how much is considered overtraining and also how often they should rep to failure? I'm surrounded by powerlifters at my gym and they tell me they almost never hit failure (always leaving 1-3 reps in the tank) so that they can increase frequency and progressive overload--they are all at least 3-4 times stronger than me. I have a pretty decent physique but my main lifts have barely increased over the past year. I know that my training to setup more with the bodybuilding mentality so amount of weight is not necessarily the goal but I would still expect to be able to bench/squat much more than I do for a person my size. I work out 4 days a week plus some cardio (hitting each muscle group once a week) but I am starting to feel like my "always give it 100%" mentality for each workout is more of a hindrance considering the people I grew up reading/hearing that from were on PEDs and could benefit more from this approach. Should naturals who are "powerbuilding" consider increasing their workouts so that they hit each muscle group twice a week and therefore do less volume per session (an possibly hit less reps to failure)?

I've been looking for good reps and sets to incorporate in my current routine and couldn't find any, I like the fact that you not only show the best form and workouts but also the reps and sets I will be trying these out today in my chest and back day. I have a question, for each muscle is it necessary to hit as much of the equipment as possible or there is a set amount of equipment and weight you need to do per workout for a specific muscle group? I'm currently doing a : chest+ back on Mondays, tricept + biceps on Tues and shoulders and legs Wednesday and repeat the process, do you find that to be a good routine for building?
