Its such a standout piece because it does all the little things right. The tiny *ting* cymbal and stick just kinda oscillate the whole time when not playing. The laser has motion blur when it zips around rather then just teleporting. It all comes back.....*Full Circle*

It's like a mix between Future Retro and Cathedral Pictures. I love it.

Seeing how well made this is and how faithful it is to the Animusic style, I was excpecting this to have some several hundered thousand views, but no??? 3.4k??? That's absolutely criminal, this deserves way more attention than it is getting.

If someone told this was a previously unreleased animusuc track I would have been 100% convinced this is spot on and has genuinely made my day to find this. :)

Ah. This type of experimental animation is what's been missing from my life. Animusic is one of the big things that inspired me to try animation, and I'm glad that the torch is being carried by someone.

My entire brain just lit up. This is the best homage to Animusic I have ever seen. You nailed everything, the physicality of the animation, the lighting, the soundfonts, the soundTRACK, the camera angles... Taking heavy inspiration but damn, this is wonderful, cannot believe it was uploaded 3 days ago.

i don't think i've seen anyone come this close to capturing that mid 2000s CGI feel that was kinda signature to Animusic.

Not only is the animation amazing, the set design is on point, especially with Animusic 2. It has a Future Retro kinda vibe in a Stick Figures themed setting with instruments sorta from Acoustic Curves. Not only is the art design perfect, the music itself is very creative and really catches you off-guard with some really sick chord changes. Awesome work! It happens far too often with "fanimusic" tracks where the art and animation are good but the music just sucks. This is top-notch!

I've absolutely loved Animusic, ever since I saw some of it during third grade music class. To see its spiritual successor all these years later really does put a smile on my face.

Animusic was the number one highlight of my elementary school music class. My teacher let us watch these sometimes.

This is such a shockingly accurate successor to Animusic. The musical stylings, the aesthetics, the grounded yet fantastical design language. I had to check the credits to make sure.

The instruments, setup, lighting, color, and camera motion are all so perfectly Animusic; it does my little heart good 🥹 My only issue is with how the guitar strings vibrate dramatically and then abruptly stop with no obvious dampening mechanism, at least in the beginning.

Best one yet!

My grandma knew one of the OG people that created animusic and i had one of the OG cd’s, they gave me endless entertainment as a kid
