Full Crab Pots - BIG MUD CRABS | Cook up!

In this episode I catch lots of big crabs (and release plenty as well) in a river in Northern Australia. I cast net for live prawns / shrimp for bait to fish with while waiting for the crabs to go into the pots / traps. Satisfied with the fish and crabs, I head off to cook the catch! Hope you enjoy this adventure!

If you don't mind show how you break open the crabs and get the meat out show some recipes that you make with the crab everybody's catching crabs now and boiling them like you just did but let's get creative and do what they're not doing because I want to see you go all the way u are catching more than anyone else and your crabs are bigger

Another great video mate keep them coming. Just a suggestion you could possibly do a little bit of a presentation on how long you cook the crabs / prawns, s maybe try a few different condiments / sauces high lighting local produce etc.

Another great vid. My top 5 of seafood from the Qld waters. Coral Trout, Fingermark, Mangrove Jack, Barra, Muddies. Whatever bait you’re using is attracting those muddies. I watch plenty of other vids and nobody gets the quantity of crabs you pull up. Thanks, bring on more.

I do clean crabs before I cook them at times. I personally don’t think there is a right or wrong way when it comes to this. I have heard arguments for both ways that make good sense. Thanks for your question!👍

I like to clean blue crabs before boiling them in spices and herbs here in Mississippi. They dont soak up much flavor if cooked whole.

I only keep enough fish for my immediate needs. If I am satisfied with the fish I have caught I let the rest go. Cod are considered to be of good eating quality. Thanks for your suggestion. Cheers!👍
