Just wanna say I completely understand where people are coming from in terms of eating less sugar and healthier calories. I have tried that in the past and just couldnt gain weight but again I am gonna take onboard the postivie critiscm and try and cut down on the "unhealthy" food. Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to watch and comment their advice 👏👌

Also you dont need to be in a surplus to gain muscle. Not to mention that eating that many calories is unhealthy and it is not going to put extra muscle than if you did maintenance calories + you are going to put more fat + water retention + when you will want to cut when you put quite some fat you will lose some muscle mass. It is just not worth it. Instead of doing that you could do maintenance calories or even be in a very slight surplus ( +300 at max) if you really feel very skinny, which in my opinion you are not. Keep in mind to get enough protein in you everyday. Trust me you dont want to overeat, I promise you you will regret it eventually

@Offroad Madness of course, you can build mass with "bad" food, if you are doing this Principle: Eat more kcal than you burn, 2g protein per kg body weight. Whether it is optimal for your health is another question. Later, it will cost your health because the body also needs micronutrients and fiber. But you can directly involve it by eating 200-300g of vegetables and fruit every day, and 10g of fiber at 1000kcal.

@Jet.Endlight
@Jet.Endlight 4 жыл бұрын
Genetics also play a huge part... I had horrible breakouts from7th grade to freshman yr. I actually had to use Accutane which has multiple different side effects ppl can experience. I am completely clear and off Accutane now bc u can't stay on it for long unless u wanna lose a liver. I still gotta be on strong medications that dry out skin in the most random areas of ur body. Some ppl can use something like proactive to easily maintain their acne, and some can be obese af w the worst diet and have nothing. The cause of acne differentiates for tons of ppl.

Great video. I can see your pinned comment and nice to know you’re taking advice from the community. Usually at a young age you’re always going to be a ‘hard gainer’. That’s just the way your metabolism develops. Stay consistent, tweak your diet as SOME of the comments suggest, and continue to work hard. With your height most of your results will come with age so don’t be disheartened, you’re on a great path!

3k with good food is a lot harder than 6k with trash food like a bar of chocolate. for example his pot of pasta + sauce was at 1700 kcal he said. for comparison: my food for lunch was ~1800 kcal. this included: - 550g chicken - 400g Broccoli - 350g of pepper sauce (Knorr) - 235g (uncooked) basmati rice It's almost the same in calories but 1. will keep me sated for a lot longer and 2. has way better nutrients than a bit of pasta with some pre-made sauce. TL;DR: calories aren't calories.

Otis The Cow or maybe he's not fooling . But our body has its functioning limits . He's taking like 2000-2500 calories extra than his body needs to maintain weight, and trust me .. all those 2500 calories won't turn into muscle, 80% of that will be fat .. he will get big fir sure, but the results won't make him happy.

Quincy I know .. but is it worth , first you workhard and eat more than you need and gain more fat than Muscle and call it gaining . Then again you work hard to reduce that fat and call it cutting. So why not do just lean bulking, eat only 300-500 calories in surplus and be careful to have them from rich protein sources.
