Yes it’s like saying Phoenix, US….skips a part 😅 My first time visiting Canada they didn’t even say Canada, it was just “Welcome to Victoria British Columbia” so I took the clue from there, haha.

I like how as a Canadian going down to the States, if I were to say "Seattle, USA" or "Dallas, USA" I get corrected and told that it is Seattle Washington or Dallas Texas. Canadians are taught U.S. states but when it comes to provinces in Canada they don't exist 🤣 I've been asked by an American one time that Toronto and Vancouver are in the State right? I had no words 😳 why are people not questioning the American education system?

Cute video. Stumbled across you guys. Thanks for giving Toronto the spotlight. Just a few notes, Toronto is a city. We are in the province of Ontario. Provinces are the equivalent of a state in the US. And next time you are here, I recommend going to some of the amazing independent doughnut places. Tims is not really Canadian anymore and their donuts are equivalent to Dunkin Donuts. Also, just a side note, at most dim sum places in the Greater Toronto Area, you are given different coloured chopsticks. One is to eat with, usually the black one in the restaurant you went to, and the other one is called Gung Fai or communal chopsticks. This one is to pick up food and place it in your bowl/plate. This is so you don't spread germs because your chopsticks touched your mouth, you don't want to use it to touch other people's food.

Cool vid! Toronto might be one of the best spots for cantonese food - a lot of the chefs from HK emigrated to toronto back in the 80s/90s.

Go to Vancouver 😎- The bbq pork bun looks different and food, but it’s it better than nyc Mei Lai Wah? Yeah I’m not a big fan of chicken feet as well. Wow you got Toronto Fans that’s dope 😎 that sucks that’s one one is playing basketball 🏀 I love truffle pasta but now every place can make it good. I just had carribean jerk chicken fried rice from this pit master with Justin and it was fire 🔥 Zach for the cleanup 😂. You guys made the trip work despite everything that happened. Great video as always. 💪🏽

If/When you guys come back to Toronto, hit up Scarborough and Markham/Richmond Hill for dim sum. Better value and better food. Downtown still has good spots, but they tend to be smaller and/or pricier. We do have decent poutine in Toronto, butnits hard to beat what uou can get in Montreal. A comparison would have been a good move. Just don't get it from a place that uses shredded cheese or frozen fries like just about all the fast food joints. If pasta is your thing, my favorite spot was Marchellos in the Oakwood Village. My go-to there was the gniocchi and penne alla vodka, but they have so much more that I haven't gotten to try yet. And its hard to now that i've moved to the other side of town.

Oh shoot, you were at what looked like Denison Centre. They have THE best tofu fa there. And Duck Bakery around the corner has some really good baked goods too. P.S. They thought about scooters but it won't work well with our winter season.

I'm born n raised in Toronto and am a foodie. I'm sooooo happy you guys enjoyed your stay and next time you visit you guys need to go to Kennsington Market and try a few diff spots and now you need to visit "The Well" (there are multiple gourmet restos and street eats ). ❤❤🎉🎉

FYI, Chinese restaurants in the US are way behind the times with offering serving chopsticks. Typically they are the green colored one. You would use the serving chopsticks to pick the food from the main plates and transfer the food to your personal plate. You then would use the other colored set of chopsticks to serve the food to yourself. Here in the US, when you ask for serving chopsticks, they would give you the same colored chopsticks.

Toronto is the best spot for Chinese food in all of Canada. Amazed u went from downtown all the way uptown for chef88. Dim Sun got to be bigger for the price they charge yeahhhh! Glad you liked it!
