4:19 - Agree. Its always been frustrating how they introduce mechanics just to invalidate them. Status effects and effects that require an enemy have them? Most enemies are immune. You can give your characters crit and dodge via hidden potential? Well we're going to build crit and dodge into kits, some times on the same character, so these basically do nothing. And its so uneven as hidden potential additionals always have value. It's too late now for them to just not build crit/dodge into kits, so the logical thing to do is a hidden potential update that resets the crit/add/dodge nodes and adds, say, a 4th and 5th choice so there's always something useful to select.

I feel like Dokkan could honestly rework the potential system. I think Physical (PHY) characters should have their innate special ability be based upon Reduction instead of additionals. However, the amount of reduction you get per level is half of a percentage (so a Lvl 1 equip gives you 0.5% added reduction). For Technique (TEQ) characters, I think their ability should be turned into "Exposed" instead of Crit. The Exposed ability is applied as an debuff for the current turn and it increases all the damage dealt from the entire rotation by 10%. The ability has the same exact percentage to activate as Crit and AAs (which is 2% per level of equip.) Edit: For the exposed ability, I believe it should also be able to increase the level of attack effectiveness up a tier as well when the debuff is applied for the turn. For example, if a character does a Yellow arrow attack (type neutral) it would be upgraded to a green arrow attack. If the character was already doing a green arrow effectiveness, it should be upgraded to a Blue arrow effectiveness (super effective). If it's a Orange arrow effectiveness, it will be upgraded to Yellow arrow effectiveness.

ive said for awhile the free 55% slot in potential should have all three choices like the lower right spot so ur not locked to pick crit or add or dodge this became a problem when str vegeta hit and he crits all the time and hes str so his potential system crit is pointless and a waste ,honestly the free spot having the choice of all three would be nice m what would be amazing is if u could pick any of the 3 in every slot then you could truly build a card the way u want and u aint handcuffed by what they give u

I legit forgot INT "Android #17 & #18" was a unit in this game. If you had held a gun to my head and asked me what the Part 1 DFE was before the LR Ribrianne nonsense, I would be dead.

They should add something like effective against all types on the orb system. Or some form of damage resistance or penetration, like it gives a % chance for it to proc a fixed amount or youre allowed like upto 15% dmg reduction or pen

With android 17(u7) being so good, i am hugely hyped for golden freeza and 17 eza. Im hoping that it will come along with teq jiren eza and lr jiren(full power) for part 2. The real question is who is who is the super eza and super ezas for this celebration going to be. Even if we dont get a super eza, this is the perfect time to do a "sub" eza batch with teq gohan and picollo, str gohan and freeza, teq 17, teq 18, agl fit buu, agl krillin, and maybe bergamo. Maybe also we could get teq k and c eza or phy golden freeza as well. There really is a lot of possible ezas to get hyped about with this celebration, along with the powerhouse that is teq ui.

i think potential system should be revamped, keep the old grid and add a 2nd new full grid. similar to ARPGS like diablo or path of exiles: like say all “Goku” characters have a different grid to “Vegeta” characters, like give them slight buffs for every node activated, just small ones like +2% damage reduction when attacking or something

You now have 2 target skills,b2 characters that revive, 2 characters that are seemingly untouchable, and team 7 for great support

The thing about getting buffs for the first hit makes me think the new difficult event is gonna have a monster of an AOE phase. Also I think Dyspo dodge after super isn't a different proc because it says "an additional". Isn't that usually the wording they use when dodge chance gets added to the base dodge chance?

You can’t really expect players to have pulled Team U7, I get that they came out 3 years ago on global and 3.5 years ago on JP but global has had 4 banners that are worth chasing that would have them, those being the carnival banners for the cooler movie worldwide and the carnival banners for the future saga worldwide and now the 9th anni carnival banners are not even worth going for outside of discounts and maybe if you get 2-3 copies of beast then do the big ticket multi on gogeta’s banner

As a 3 year F2P player, this makes me happy. It also makes perfect financial sense for dokkan to make these older units soo busted with their EZA/ super EZA. You reward the players who have been playing the game for a long time and most likely have the unit and incentivises new players to use stones/ money to get the unit.
