I think I know why this show is so addictive- it’s the authentic human emotion captured that is virtually absent from anything else you can see on tv.

I'm not fussy about Say Yes to the Dress but this one captivated me and has held me there from the start and I can't get enough of it. How these women can be so positive and helpful to some brides who have been so horrendously treated, is absolutely amazing. This is not about money, but about the bride herself and all of her qualities and flaws. What a show. Please bring it back with more episode as I am sure I've seen every episode I could find. Love it from Canada.

This show isn't about bridal gowns. It's a daily lesson by these 2 wonderful shop owners on how to behave towards your fellow man. Kindness, no judgments, yet helpful as suggestions, and positive support. ♥

The mom is exactly the reason I didn't take anyone when I was shopping and deciding on a dress. I don't need or want opinions. The staff at the shop helped me find something awesome for my shape, just like these two lovely ladies help the women in their shop. ❤❤

When the dresser said "That's just her and I think she's brilliant" I loved that.

Why do mothers put a condition on paying for the dress? How about you all go in, try on all style of dress and take it from there instead of saying “I” have to like it before I dish out the money…..blackmail! I personally love watching this show because you can always tell when they find their dress……their eyes literally light up and the smile completes the joy and beauty they feel ❤❤❤

It’s sad to watch a mother knock her daughter’s self esteem down. It’s not funny. It’s not cool. Don’t offer to buy the dress if you can’t keep your mouth shut. How rude.

It is an amazing experience to see Jo and Al turn these ladies around in a single day. They are such a gift. I watch it to relax and they are so nurturing and reassuring.

I just love how these ladies focus on the woman and her issues then they find them the perfect dress. They are truly about building each other up instead of tearing each other apart. It surprises me that these women treat the brides better than their own family

I felt so sad for the lady that bought the 10 dresses, she looked absolutely stunning in the dress she chose and her fiancé wore JEANS AND TRAINERS!! I’m sorry but that’s just wrong! She may have felt better in something else but it was a special day and she made an effort, I’m sure he could have done the same for her…

The dress that Leeann tried last was stunning on her, it really looked elegant & beautiful on her. The dress Sue selected was amazing! She looked like the perfect Bride, not weird or quirky at all! 😊she was beautiful!

That mother that said her daughter has big thighs angered me. I think she looked amazing in the fishtail dress. The first dress I picked out for my first wedding my mother told me I look like a football player. I ended up going with the dress that my sister and mother picked out which wasn't what I would have picked out. Now for my second wedding, I can't believe I'm saying this, I was 40 years old. I thought because it was my second wedding that I couldn't really get a regular bride's dress so I bought my dress online. Looking back it was pretty but watching all these episodes makes me wish I would have went with a traditional brides dress instead of a short dress. It looked like a laced Marilyn Monroe dress. I wish we could renew our vows and I can fly out to Australia just to meet Al and Joe and get a proper bridal dress, we've been married 12 years now.

I just have such a hard time seeing anyone like Leann's mother! There shouldn't be strings attached to a gift, otherwise it's just a form of control and seems especially mean when it's for a bride.

I need to apologise to all you curvy ladies, for all the bullies, all the negative comments. I watch with happy tears as you become a princess in you’re beautiful gowns. I need you all to realise that the men in your life. Love you just the way you are. They are gobsmacked and breathless when they see you in the dress walking down the isle. I need you to know you that isTrue love that a skinny girl may never experience. Because these guys love you just the way you are. Go celebrate 🍾💃✨

Ladies, y'all need to try on some dresses that you may not like on the hanger - you will be surprised how much different they are when you are wearing them. That's how I found my wedding dress. I didn't like it on the hanger, but it was gorgeous when I put it on! Absolutely perfect!!

I don’t see how dress pants are any more uncomfortable than jeans. At all. It’s your wedding and you can’t be bothered to dress up even a little? He wore a vest and a jacket, which in my opinion are more uncomfortable than the pants. It’s so odd to me. But I guess it’s what he wanted to wear.

These two ladies go the extra mile making sure that the bride are comfortable in the wedding dress and are able to function properly with the dress that they've chosen and are able to function like going down the aisle with what they've chosen how many places can you go to to get a dress and such personalized service I don't think there are very many places like them or any people like them. I can always wish that there are. I hope they continue to do what they're doing now that covid is over they should be well and healthy until these brides are bringing back their daughters to be fitted to them.

Thank you for putting this up as somebody who was a curvy bride herself and have to have my dress made from scratch more than 30 years ago I kind of know what a lot of these broads are going through when you're curvy and you are unusually shaped to boot it doesn't help that you're all so tall it can be exasperating to try to find a dress that will fit.

Honestly...I think that even if the mother is paying for the dress that her opinion shouldn't matter as much as the brides. The only thing she should be allowed to say an absolute no to is the price. Same goes for fathers that pay for the dressed as well.

Jo is so right about sometimes the bride just needs to try on a dress because they look so different on. I dont know how many of these shows Ive seen when the bride says absolutely not and then that's the one they get. My favorite being the one where the bride was so adamant that she hated lace, didn't want one bit on lace anywhere and kept saying it. Of course, the full lace dress looked absolutely stunning on her so lace it was. She was shocked herself! With the really picky bride, she kept fussing and fussing with stuff. The dress she chose, she wanted the stole thing off and strapless it looked absolutely gorgeous as her decolletage was lovely and then she kept fussing adding a layer around her shoulder. I think she should have gone with the strapless with a necklace statement piece~
