They use their platform not only to set up a good foundation for their own family but to help others less fortunate than themselves. Dina Hassanein well, she helped get an African American woman out of jail who was charged with a nonviolent drug offense and was supposed to serve life in jail so I think that’s pretty amazing. Also, she is going to law school so that’s pretty awesome as well. And she plans on helping others who were wrongfully convicted as well.

I work in fundraising. People want to be connected to stories - just because she has the money to feed Africa doesn't mean she's connected to the mission. You get to choose where you spend your time and money. So does she. Just because she has money does not mean she's obligated to fix all of the world's problems.

It’s more than a lot of other wealthy celebrities have done. And just because someone is famous and wealthy doesn’t necessarily mean they have money to give handouts. Ever heard of famous wealthy people going into debt? “Unless you control your spending, making more money won’t help” She has children, businesses, employers, investments etc.
