Divorce Court

Divorce Court

4 жыл бұрын

Bitterness dwells between Maranda and Frederick as they continue to try and balance out parenthood and marriage. Maranda says she feels stuck in her marriage with Frederick because there doesn’t appear to be any growth, excitement, romance or communication. Frederick expects her to become a better housewife and says after coming home from a long day at work dinner is never on and the environment is far from relaxing forcing him to unwind elsewhere. Maranda argues that all she wants is for him to spend more time with her and the kids while he’s home.

I think he was just as hurt as her and felt equally as unappreciated as she did. I don't think he wanted to be right, he wanted to be treated right. She is the real problem because she so caught up in her emotions and how she feels that she can't be a team player for being petty. She can't see she has a good hard working man and that she could get him to do right with less tears and more supportive actions.

Beast Lee you all act like taking care of kids ..more than one.. house work , cooking , screwing an ungrateful man who wants it when HE wants it despite or screw that she’s tired ..is nothing compared to going out and working X amount of hours , it’s physical and an emotional job .. ffs he gets a day off, he gets holidays last I looked we mothers don’t get holidays and if we did go away it was more work when we came back .. he gets weekends or at the very least Sunday off .. he gets paid ..she doesn’t .. her job , even while she sleeps, is 24/7 because she’s on call if one of the children is sick or needs something.. this selfish pos ..couldn’t even have it in his heart ( “ heart” that’s laughable ) to spend time with her or the kids when he had it.. I had 6 kids ..and my husband worked.. and he still found the time to help me.. and spend time with his kids .. all 6 , even now he’s 60 and our children are grown and gone ..he still works and helps me.. it’s called partnership for a reason.. It was all him .. the car he wanted , the appreciation ,but he gave none, the sex when he wanted , he even wanted to leave her when she was pregnant .. called a co worker , wouldn’t be surprised if it was a female.. played his games .. no wonder she cried and complained. Edited My husband is up at 4.50 am to leave at 5.30 am .. not home till after 5 pm. . He travels over 2 hours a day.. never once would he complain like this man.

Why discount someone without knowing what they’ve experienced or witnessed? Judge Ephriam is who Judge Toler replaced. Toler could never give the knowledge that Ephriam had being a domestic violence survivor, a single mother, etc. Toler brought a different perspective. Judge Faith will do the same. Dismissing someone’s credibility without allow them to step into their own is a bit unfair. You can’t fail a person until they have taken the test. Imagine if your husband didn't work and when you got home you had to wash dishes. Gtfohwtbs. She was lucky, she will never find a man as good as him with 3 children. Her immaturity cost her and her kids big time. And For you to act like you don't see how wrong she is is disturbing. The foreigners are right, American women are spoiled. Like come on man, you don’t just leave a mess and expect her to clean it because she’s home. My uncle does that and it grates my aunts nerve so he stopped doing it, because he knows that she keeps his house running (especially cause the man can’t boil water). He has no interest in spending time her or their kids. You want to play video games all day long on your day off, when that tile could be spent doing something with your family. And he’s selfish. She put her 2500 into that car as well but he still took that and got the car he wanted. Not the one that would beat suit his family.

If you choose to be a stay at home mom, I don't see why you can't keep the house clean etc... Not taking sides at all BUT it's annoying when I hear women complain about the house being a mess when they're at home ALL DAY #smh Before anyone @ me...I'm a single mom of 3 that works, gets NO financial support from my ex-husband or the govt but yet I can maintain my household etc...

I agree 100%. I’m a woman that works full time & going to school & sometimes I’m too tired to do house chores. But if I was a housewife my house would be spotless. No complaints!

I agree with you. I can also empathize with women who feel taken for granted in that role. Like their job never stops. At minimum, if you’re the breadwinner you can clean up behind yourself and not add to the mess. It’s like students intentionally throwing trash on the floor and saying it’s the janitor’s job to clean. There’s an arrogance that comes with that mindset that’s makes one feel entitled to take the partner with domestic duties for granted. And then using your situation, as a single parent you have no choice but to do it all. You don’t get to say I work all day, I’m not coming home to cook or clean. So I personally don’t see the value of that mindset just because there’s another adult in the house. And there’s certainly no excuse imo when the breadwinner can’t find time or energy to contribute with raising their own children.

These comments are ridiculous... everyone's determined to make him the problem. I see a man PAYING ALL THE BILLS and a woman who wants him to help her with HER job while doing his solo, wants more attention with a habit of whining & throwing passive aggressive tantrums while showing NO appreciation. And it hasn't occurred to ANYONE thats calling him out that if she GOT A JOB and helped pay the bills, he wouldn't have to work so many hours and she could get more time/attention/help. But he's the problem...

Damn my ex was like this... he's emotionally unavailable and he makes everything about himself when I was emotional and completely disregarded my mental health. People like him are beyond immature and they love draining your energy, the only perk is they pacify your mental health wounds because you focus on them for awhile instead of your core wounds. RUN SIS RUN. I did and I deleted social media and I'm happy now.

Dwahn Denson Thats his choice with the profession. Your marriage and family comes first. Don’t forget he has kids. If they separate and he continues to work these hours do the kids lose out on there dad? Will he say I’m too tired to spend time with my kids? You have to make time for what it is you want. Nobody wants to be in a loveless marriage for 40 years. Come on now. Don’t give him excuses, call it was it is. The marriage didn’t die because he was too tired and had no time, it died because he wasn’t trying. He was bored with her. He work 6 to 6 overnight so he had open time. She said when he’s up AFTER SLEEPING all he wanted is to play video games instead of trying to be affectionate towards her. He did not want her anymore. 🤷🏾‍♀️ When judge offered them counseling she said yes, and he said no.

I kinda can relate to her with needing some time off. I want a couple of hours to myself without being responsible for the kids for those 2 hours. But I get his position too. After you've worked all week, you don't want to go home and work again. What works for us in giving each other a couple of hours of time to ourselves on his day off. I still take care of the home primarily even when he's off, but he pitches in with little things. But those 2 hours make all the difference.

Unpaid 24/7 job and most often underrated/ unappreciated like in this case. She at least can keep quiet when Judge Toler speaks. That man annoys the heck out of me. And stop having kids so you dont have to take up that extra night shift. Geez

@@jettanyiagumbs6091 yes I have a son and no I'm not married. How about You? And why do you think that makes a difference? you know 60% of marriages are failures. And this is more about roles. If you wanna be a housewife that comes at a cost. A man cannot work 70 hrs and come home and do more housework when his wife is home all day. I texted my mom a link to get her opinion. She 66 yrs old, been married to my dad (71 yrs old) for 42 yrs. She thinks this woman is lazy, my mother worked and did housework ( my father washed dishes, took out trash, did all the outside work) but she said if my dad could afford to let her stay home she would have did all of the inside housework and even help with the outside housework. Her exact words "Working for a boss that you have to listen to is far more stressful than watching kids you can beat" And she had 3 boys

You know a man is over his woman when he starts every sentence with I work 🤦🏾‍♀️ You would work too without her so don’t expect celebrations every day because you’re doing something basic for yourself. Same thing with women, you would cook, clean and take care of your kids as a single mom too so don’t expect celebration every day because you did something that you signed up for by having children. People with that mindset never get a successful relationship because they weigh in each good thing they did for their partner and compare and contrast. It’s sad but better leave while you’re still young.
