I couldn't get the eye pods to work until I used Too faced shadow insurance (I have oily lids and almost every shadow slides right off without shadow insurance) and I also applied them with a sponge tip applicator rather than a brush. Better color, smoother application, and the primer kept them on all day.

Yes yes yes - the blender brush is definitely worth the money. I’ve had mine for two years now and I LOVE is for foundation and for blusher/bronzer.

Ohhh yehhhh! 😍 Great video! My favourites are also perla and the bourdeaux lip suede. Thanks for your honesty about the products. I was disappointed with my eye pods for the same reason - they are so sheer on my skin tone, don’t last and I can’t get my nails in the packaging to apply with my finger! I thought it was just me! I keep going back to using them because of the price but feel the same each time! (They go in the back of my drawer with the Roen cream eye shadows which also wear quickly on me because they don’t set) I really like clean beauty as I find my skin responds better too, but I also like that clean beauty brands are usually cruelty free unlike so many other brands (no idea why this is!) I love having really good cruelty free brushes too. Thanks as always Kate! 🥰

Thanks Anna! Wow, it sounds like we have exactly the same experience with the eye pods, what a shame 😔 You’re right that clean brands are often cruelty free too, I guess there must be a lot of overlap in those markets! 🥰 🥰 🥰

Love the final look, it’s beautiful!! WA is definitely my favorite brand, even though I have many products from other beautiful brands I always end up using my WA products, they just really do give you a very beautiful polished look, and as someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup it’s great to be able to achieve this without a lot of effort & also without irritating my super sensitive skin. I currently have the foundation in the shade 0 because that was the lightest one at that moment but I’m thinking about getting the shade N, since you have both I wanted to ask you which shade do you find is better for covering redness. Totally different subject but yesterday I finally placed my first order of Salt New York products, can’t wait to get them, every time I see you using them they look so pretty! Thanks Natalia! That’s so great that WA makeup works so well for your skin. I find 0 covers redness better, because of it being a bit more yellow vs the rosy ness of N, but since the formula has good coverage in general, I think N covers it pretty well just by being well pigmented. I’m so excited for you to try Salt NY!! Yay! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. The fur babies are great 😊 Hope you are too 🥰 🥰

Hi Kate, you look so great with a red lip! Especially if they have a more orangey tone. I have no experience with WA. But those eyepots were just the most interesting to me ( eyeshadow is my weakness together with blush). Good to know that they have poor longevity. (The look of those lip compacts 😍)

Oh wow @ruth h ! I just read your reply *after* I had posted my comment/question to Kate about my Lip Rouge going off. Same happened to me, I contacted WA for a replacement and the basically told me to take a hike. They told me "nothing like that happened in testing". OK, great, but it happened to me! And, now I see it happened to you. I'm ticked at WA.😡

Oh my goodness, what terrible customer service 😣 So sorry to hear you both experienced that.. sounds like Les Rouges is a bit of a lemon. I’ve had mine for about a year and it’s still in good condition, and no weird smells, but I’m still annoyed by the bottom shade 😂

Hello Kate - An absolutely stunning look on you! Especially the lips 💋... I love how that tiny bit of the dusty rose added downshifted the tomato red color perfectly. I love all the lip palettes for that versatility. Quick question regarding your Les Rouges Lip Suede: Has yours gotten at all gummy/sticky and slightly off smelling? Mine has. I've only had mine since December. I've never used fingers, only a clean brush and onto clean lips. I've probably only used it six times. It's never left my climate controlled apartment. It had a very slight oil smell when I got it, but now it's pronounced. The slightly drier texture it had when I got it has now turned gummy. My other Lip Suedes are just fine. Unfortunately when I contacted Westman Atelier, they said "nothing like that happened in testing", and that I basically can take a walk for a replacement. I was stunned, to say the least. I really wanted to try the powder, but unfortunately after the WA customer service snub, it's a no-go.

Gorgeous! I love the finished look. I’m so tempted by the new powder. I’ve also been eyeing the baby blender brush, but can you think of a dupe or similar (less expensive) brush? PS How did your skin do with the superloaded this time?

Thanks Joanna, glad you liked it! I think either the Sonia G Soft Concealer or Jumbo Concealer are good alternatives to the BB and are a similar size. Haha, thanks for asking - my skin fared just fine with the superloaded, so I think the irritation might have come from a new peel pad I had tried a couple days earlier! 🥰 🥰 🥰

Hi Kate, I’m not sure what it is but this makeup has a different look on you, a kind of muted depth, a nice difference though. I wanted to try the eye pods but thank you as always for your honesty, I’ll pass. I do have the single champagne but after practically one use it’s been dry so I put cream in it, not good. The powder sounds really good. You always help me figure out what’s best in this world that for me is confusing, except for blush haha. 🥰 Have a very happy week. ❤️🌷❤️ oh I like your new lamp too. 🥰

Hey Kate .. love this look 😍 you look stunning… and I love the eye pods but they don’t last long on me which is a bummer if I were to go out for hours I wouldn’t choose to wear them … I love the whole feel of using them and what have you but no longevity… Charlottes bronzer has bubbled I have the darker one peau de Riche I think it’s called and that hasn’t bubbled , Charlotte also has Les rouge and the bottom colour is like Les Nudes formula too… I really love this brand and I’m loving my powder and I’m not a powder wearer I will use my others up now and will always buy this one .. it feels so light on me which Is fantastic… hope you’re all well 🤗🤗♥️
