That was so much fun. And Rapunzel ringing out her hair was great.

@@UnlockDisney I love how they all stayed in character and made the best out of this weather! It was also fun seeing the village maiden dancer step dramatically over a puddle almost like a Stepsister lol.

I loved watching Peter collecting water and throwing on the crowd too.. horrible weather but the cast made the most of it

I didn’t think he would do it. It was awesome!

The rain came out of nowhere. The sky was perfect and then like 2 minutes in it started to pour.

@@UnlockDisney I had a video call immediatly after they finished watching the parade in the vip section. They found it the most surreal experiance ever. This all happened because a cast member loved what they were wearing as they entered the park and asked if they would love to be in the parade. Amazing.

Yeah, the fur characters went right back in. 😂

She ended up getting towed back. 😂

I remember Ariel siting sea shell how you pick her up off that float I know she has a tail hing on the platform two

The rain hit about two minutes in so they had to just keep going with it. They kept it going up until the end when the float broke down and all the nonsense happened.

@@UnlockDisney hopefully the performers playing Mickey & Minnie had some compassion for the cast members that still had to go through with the parade.

It was pretty warm but yeah. She played with it raining and had so much fun. It was great.

It was a beautiful day and literally 2 minutes into the parade it started to pour. Some of the fur characters didn’t come out yet so they stayed behind but those that were already out had to keep going.

They weren't evacuated, actually. Like Ariel and Peter, they're in a complicated spot to evacuate in front of a crowd (and in the rain), so they just rode the float to the end and got off backstage. This breakdown was in more or less the middle of Main Street, so they were only about thirty seconds from the end of the route once the tow vehicle got moving.

@@Fraction13That’s not correct, Belle and Beast were eventually evacuated from the float on the spot where it had broken down. Belle had to remove Beast’s tail whilst still on the float, in order to unlock his harness. They exited from the right hand side of the float, Beast first, then Belle, where she discreetly handed one of the tech guys the the tail, which he reattached he to Beast’s costume, before they both proceeded to walk down Main Street. All cast members that could be were evacuated. Only Peter Pan and Ariel could not be because they use cherry pickers to get up and down from those heights. The dancer who controls Maleficent’s tail had to remain as did the two end of parade rope barers. Once the recovery buggy had finally been connected to the float- they were having trouble getting the tow bar secured- the parade floats didn’t circle Town Square and instead turned right at the end of Main Street and straight into the backstage yard.

She was towed in with the other floats. She just kept right on smiling the entire time too!

Eventually the floats were towed in and they touched it out. I love how they all played with the situation. It was fun to see and yet it stunk. Lol

They have ways of evacuating the floats in a timely manor . When I was in entertainment and in the parades as Gaston.. it took 15 secs or less to unhook a safety harness and get off the float

I think it's fun. They just decided to perform with a cheerful attitude despite the weather and I think they did a wonderful job!

A refund because a parade was cancelled? The rides were still operational, the restaurants were open, the stores were open.

Disney doesn’t control the weather! Sometimes freak showers happen and with all the best will in the work cannot be foreseen.
