Shout to Shane Mosley what A beast , like at this point Shane was old and had already face the best and didn’t have anything else to prove and really should have been retired at that point but yet in there with the young fresh and strong men coming up , most people say u could see Shane age showing and u can but the most saddest part is Shane is already punch drunk at this point and fights before this fight even then u could hear his speech was messed up & I hear his training in the background hollering for him to do this do that etc and I’m like to my self dude why haven’t u been spoke up for Shane to retire , u been with him his whole boxing career so u seen he was punch drunk before anyone A true friend and deed what have been said something & im saying this and the trainer could have said something idk but I watch Shane in tuff tuff battles already punch drunk and taking to many shots . People need to see the reality of punch drunk and we need to talk about it , every other sport have awareness about the effectiveness of the Sport but not boxing its like no one cares . Just like A lot of people don’t know the story about Arturo gatti , he was also punch drunk this man had A horrible horrible death the pain I can’t even imagine they say his headache was so bad he would scream & scream couldn’t sleep nothing , he was on all kinds of strong medications that couldn’t even help with the headache from all the blows to the head and brain . We talk about concussions in football but imagine being hit in the head over & over & over again by someone who is TRAIN to punch , ur brain shifting back & forth blow after blow , Look at Ali he was also punch drunk they said he had Parkinson’s but put Ali on side of any other normal patient that had that disease & not one SHAKE LOOK Ali shook and that’s A fact , it wasn’t b Parkinson it was All the shots to the head . We need to bring awareness and when need to teach these young fighters about this . This is why I can’t see how people hated Floyd so much who seen it first hand & that’s why Floyd was so good at defense & made defense his # one priority which actually made his offense even better but Floyd was big on protecting his health and retiring boxing & not letting it retire him , Young fighters need to start saving there money in the very beginning of there career and invest in there money and retire boxing and not be having to fight in your late 30’s 40’s becus u didn’t save ur money .

Technology could eliminate judges. A sensor installed in each glove could record each punch landed and with what force. This information could be processed according to an algorithm that awards more points for harder blows, and a winner would be declared based on the number of points they scored.

No, that’s what makes him legendary. Ever since Floyd promoted his “perfect” record, this new generation just thinks the best boxers are the ones who never lost which is complete bs. It’s actually the opposite. The best, most legendary and most respected boxers have lost more than once. That means they took the bigger risks. Fighting the best when both boxers were in their prime, risking it all to try and prove they were the best and fearless.

If they would have called this a draw, I would go along with that. Neither fighter really hurt the other and Mosley threw more punches but Canelo threw more effective punches. It was a good fight but not a great fight.

I can't imagine why Mosley took this fight, except for the money. Shane was never; even at his best, the caliber of fighter that Canelo is. It's obvious that Canelo went a little easy on him. He could have put him asleep by round 6.

This is an underrated crossroads fight between hall of famers pitting a veteran vs an up and coming fighter. Mosley didn't come to show up and cash a paycheck either, he actually bet a million dollars on himself winning even though his purse was only $600k.
