I was at the fight with my dad. I was telling my dad all week about how Frampton was the shit, and after that first round my dad said “Is Frampton any good?” But after watching Frampton come back and take control after those two knockdowns my dad has been a big time Frampton fan ever since.

I would see Gonzalez train at Ponce's gym, him and his dad alot. I didn't really talk to him, i would talk to his dad more, but i knew who he wad. When I saw him he was always humble, classy and a respectful young man. Sad to hear that he was murdered. Its a shame. RIP.

Very very good performance by Frampton, nice jab nice head movement and many good shots landed, in my opinion he fought a smart fight despite the first round.

Frampton beat the skinny weight nobody. The skinny weight nobody was deducted 2 pts. Frampton clearly won 1 rd out of the 1st 6. If you listen to the commentary, the skinny weight nobody was ready to quit after rd 6. Even though he hit Frampton with the more impressive punches (SMH the commentary who ignored this fact due to being on the hype train). And then, after all that bullshit, the skinny weight nobody had an amazing rd 8. Not to be disheartened, the commentary (bought) went onto describe how this skinny weight nobody was "ready to quit/on his last legs" and even though it was still at best an even fight. "He's bouncing so he's on his last legs"??! Wtf! Desperate agenda script if you've ever heard it. Makes you wonder about "boxing" doesn't it? (this was Frampton's US debut.....)
