I'm sure people will disagree with me but I feel bad for him honestly. It's clear he doesn't want to box anymore but feels forced into it, partly because of public expectation but because it's the only thing he knows. Kinda sad to see...

The following explains in a nutshell as to why Jr never reached his potential Born in 1962 his father, Rodolfo Chavez, worked for the railroad, and Julio grew up in an abandoned railroad car with his five sisters and four brothers. Chávez came from a poor family and became a boxer for money, he stated: "I saw my mom working, ironing, and washing people's clothes, and I promised her I would give her a house someday, and she would never have that job again."

so sad to see how far JCC Jr. has fallen. to a possible upcoming next Mexican star, to take over his father's legacy, to being a complete disappointment. His career high was having Sergio Martinez hurt late in their championship fight. If JCC kept that heart, training, intensity, he could have been where Canelo is now. he had the name and following of the Mexican fans already, he could have been a huge star.

Cuando miles de boxiadores estaban peliando desde abajo en frente de 30 personas, Chavez jr estaba en estadios en frente de 25,0000 ganado mucho dinero! Pero peliaba bien y la jente lo accepto! Pero despues se metio en las drogas, no llegaba a peso y no entrenaba, y era muy irresponsable! Y su papa siempre limpiando sus cagadas! Por eso esta ronde esta! Peliando en peleas de exhibition en Mexico, contra rivales de baja experencia! Ayer perdio contro un peliador retirado de MMA de 47 años! Su tiempo ya se acabo!
