@@rainersany9243 So will a punch, kick or a knee, if it's well placed, with good technique and crazy power. Especially knees like you can knee your opponent in the face and smash their their nose in, but you can't elbow somebody lol Doesn't really make sense with the context of the strikes that are allowed

Elbows cause bleeding and deep cuts, deep cuts cause doctor stoppages, doctor stoppages are never the right way to end a fight. No elbows leads to less needless damage and keeps the fight going instead of having an anti climatic finish by a doctors stoppage due to sharp elbows even if the person who took the elbows have fight in them still 🤷🏻‍♂️ I like seeing elbows as much as the next guy but let’s be honest elbows are meant to cause gashes and slices more then they’re used to directly knock opponents out and they’re used in ground and pound and short quarter situations like when holding opponents on the cage or in the clinch which slows action down due to more grappling and opportunities for people to dominate fights from the top position for long periods of time and that’s not entertaining for a crowd that mostly wants to see boxing and kicks it is what it is lol I love seeing a grappling fest with two good grapplers but the fact of the matter is most “casuals” don’t wanna see grappling they wanna see people exchanging hands and have an epic fight

It's because of the one night tournament format they have. Elbows tend to cut more so cuts on the face are far more detrimental if you have another fight that evening. Still kinda stupid though

hes a steriod juicing fk. look at his body when he was on TUF and look at it now... its so obvious and PFL does not drug test. Most steroids take away your gas tank in order for more power, and that was very clear in this fight.

Chris C he knew he was going to lose, no point it taking more damage, he was completely gassed and severely hurt, his only shot at winning was getting him to the ground, but he was too tired to even have a shot
