Full Flight: American Eagle CRJ-900 Atlanta to Charlotte (ATL-CLT)

Hey guys! Welcome to the first of a long string of flights aboard American Airlines. After an amazing experience flying aboard the 2nd to last Delta MD-88 and touring DL90 from the inside, DL88 from the ramp, and seeing so many aviation enthusiasts at ATL, it was time to start heading back...first with this quick flight over to Charlotte, NC aboard an American Eagle CRJ-900. From the hard product and service perspective, it's actually not that bad and I quite enjoy flying aboard AA's newer CRJ-900s. The seats and legroom are good, WiFi and free IFE is provided, & in seat universal power outlets and USB ports are located in between every seat. The FAs and pilots were also very nice onboard and worked an on time departure/arrival with great scenery. However, the thing you'll routinely see me criticizing AA about is their handling of COVID-19 which is one of the worst in the industry. They basically did nothing on this flight to ensure social distancing, even if they try to enforce it at the very end (which makes no sense). American has gotten so bare bones that they won't even provide you with a snack/drink bag if your flight is under 2 hours. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this flight from a Delta hub to an American hub!

I love flying. Was in the ATL airport a few weeks ago and flying with Delta. ATL was my layover between Chattanooga and Myrtle Beach.

CLT is my home it gets bigger every year... thanks for telling folks about it in your vid. some people think it is a small airport. They dont realize its on the Mega Airport list.

I Flew on American Eagle from Birmingham to Bismarck thru Dallas. Those Bismarck flights were packed full guess american didn’t get the memo about social distancing. Overall I had a good experience flying on American.

Good shot of some of the fuel tanks at Paw Creek at 16:48. If you get fuel at a gas station in the Charlotte area, it comes from there.

Seattle-Tacoma intl airport is very busy also. Was there on Aug 9. There was a lot of people. But atleast Alaska Airlines blocks seats. Didn’t have anyone in my row.

That’s actually AA’s atmospheric cabin, not quite like Delta’s, but definitely nicer than the rest of the type.

Thanks mate! I think it's really up to each person whether or not they'd feel comfortable flying. Personally I think it's fine if you take all the necessary precautions, but there's many others that think the opposite...

2:30 ATL's plane train station design is so illusory, when the train was arriving I thought you were on the train arriving instead😂 When I did AA DFW to HKG last year, I found the 9 boarding groups excessive for the B777-300ER, let alone 737s and CRJs! If you come to Australia, you'll but Aussie airlines at the bottom of your safest airline list 😂 but lucky the virus is mostly contained here

The livery American Airlines has an A319 painted in the Pacific Southwest Airlines Color Scheme If you follow the jazz guy on Instagram his story a few days ago showed him flying on that plane The plane that’s in my pfp I’m saying that I’m excited for his trip report on the A319 with the PSA livery painted on it It’s not operated by psa, just painted in its colors

I don't think AA is gaining much with the full flights going off the cheap prices I've paid for upcoming trips with them. I appreciate the cheap tickets and their better schedule compared to the competition, but I don't think it's sustainable over the long run.

I remember the time when this same airport soon as you walk in to the front door there would just be damn LINES OF PPL EVERYWHERE!! ... I mean ... THIS IS the largest and most busiest airport in the world! covid then put this to a absolute HAULT .. this is WEIRD seeing this airport this empty smh ..... on a side note .. so I was right about the american airlines having a huge hub here (im from charlotte and I live maybe 10 mins from the airport so all i see is planes landing all day long and majority of them are american airlines so if american lays off ppl YIKES!!)

No. It tells you that clearly a lot of people still demand air travel. Clearly they don’t care about the pandemic, they just want to travel. Why wouldn’t any airline take the business if the demand is there? That makes no sense.
