Hey guys! Welcome to the final flight of my trip to Seattle with a bunch of fellow avgeeks from around the country! In this vid, I fly up to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from Atlanta, Georgia aboard a Delta Air Lines A321. More and more I'm loving Delta's A321s as they've got such a nice cabin interior on them with all new features. They're such a joy to fly...especially at night when the mood lighting is turned on. Even though I do miss the MD-88s which ALWAYS flew the ATL-PIT route and that wonderful sound from the back, these planes are really nice and 100% the more comfortable plane to fly in. As far as this flight in particular, we did come into PIT on time, had some very lovely flight attendants, power outlets, WiFi, free IFE, snacks/drinks, and a nice dark peaceful landscape below for the quick flight up to the Steel City. Definitely would recommend flying Delta on their A321 if you can! Hope you guys enjoy!
Flight Info:

I flew last May of 2020 and it was so sad to see how empty the airport was. I must say I am so happy to see full planes and life in the terminals again.

Its a common, yet startling sound to hear--would think Airbus would've improved on that in the years since their narrowbody fleet was introduced--sometimes the 'dog bark' sound has a much faster tempo, reminds me of two guys sawing a tree trunk!

I already know it’s going to be a great video, such a shame the 717 is slowly beginning to be replaced by other aircraft for that route.

I love you videos man, it’s especially cool because I fuel the planes that are at the Delta concourses. I recognize the plane you were boarding too and it’s funny seeing it in a totally new perspective. That being someone boarding rather then fueling. Subscribed

Great video and love the close up of Fly Delta Jets!!!! ATL should be much busier now that restrictions are easing up!!! I hear a lot of people like Delta more than American!!! I thought they were pretty good on a flight to Paris. Can't wait to fly again. Hopefully it will be with Delta!!! The view of the stadium and downtown Pittsburgh is pretty at night!!!

You went for the mid-cabin lav! The Delta A321's are still way more modern than AA's which I think are holdovers from US Airways and have not been upgraded. I've done Chick-Fil-A at ATL maybe once or twice, but I'm more of a Varsity and Pei Wei customer LOL! - Red

Would be interesting to know why the time lag between flying(9/20) and posting(5/21)? Next time, fly Delta Comfort on the 321,ahead of the wing so we can hear that Airbus growl! As you were beginning the takeoff roll, realizing we were headed west,I motioned to the right,2 o'clock position--"We need to go thataway!" :) Beautiful view of downtown Pittsburgh--what with all the aircraft parked for the night, wondering why airlines can't put their fleets to work, flying 'early bird' routes, perhaps offering rock-bottom fares to get people on board, much like the long-gone Eastern Airlines A300's 'Moonlight Special' of the 1980's--when coming home,do you ever drive your own vehicle or is it always a gracious-minded person making the offer?

I don't miss the Mad Dog family of aircraft whatsoever. Living under the approach/takeoff path of a primary runway of a large airport, I can say that the noise from their engines was, by far, the absolute worst. A fully loaded 747 emits less noise, even during takeoff. I'm very glad the Mad Dogs have been retired.
