There are SSSOOOO many black man that know how to treat their women and families, let’s not use slavery as an excuse for every mistake a black man does
@msprettyyoungthing20

Facts, whether they realize it or not they are justifying the behavior. We all know right from wrong, and we all were taught the golden rule as children, treat others the way you want to be treated. We must hold black men to task without excuses. Because the behavior will only continue especially if no consequences follow. I'm so sick of the struggle love rhetoric, if you know better you should do better.

True but I think there is something to be said about black families being broken up and most of them not having fathers around and not seeing healthy examples of marriage. That can and does have an affect on young black men.
@jrms2589

@@LiLmSzDiVa to Adrienne's point though, as a Latina myself, it's not just Black fathers who don't show up. My father left us when I was 5 months and was not there for any of his 6 children (6 different women), except for 1. My point is, some men are just flawed and need to recognize that in order to make a change. I will not dismiss Loni's point, but I did not like how she shut Adrienne down because men of all races/creeds do this - the whole machismo thing in my culture is so outdated.

The only thing I disagreed with was when Loni told Adrienne that it wasn't across the board. The specific reason that she gave pertaining to Black men was correct, but men of other races and ethnicities have their own reasons as to why they cheat.

I respect the Black Community and their history. Bur slavery is not an excuse for this behavior. Cheating is not something that is being pass down by genetics. This is about how a man chooses to carry himself. Adrienne was right, this is something that happens in every race. Let’s stop trying to make excuses for black men and using slavery. It was a very hard time for black people and they suffered a lot. Let’s have some respect for the survivors of slavery, please.

I get what you’re saying, but it’s not like he needed the money. He’s not hard up so he didn’t have to come out with a documentary to tell his story and be honest with his fans. And not just honest but honest about Everything. He didn’t shy away from things that are already in the media. He didn’t make light of anything. He was absolutely transparent and to me that is worth applause. Some people still lie or don’t want to talk about anything during interviews even tho the story is out there.🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

lonis dramatic eye roll 9:12 she tried so hard to justify cheating when there’s no way to justify it. she made it a race thing when adrienne and jeannie were right, it’s for every race and ethnicity background. not everyone has to go thru slavery to have a broken family. many children don’t grow up with fathers more than mothers, statistically it’s more of a male issue, not race issue.

I love Loni but she was giving him a excuse. Just because you don’t wanna go back to where you was before doesn’t mean that you have room to go outside your marriage. You can be loyal and get this money and work hard without going outside of your marriage. Plus cheating is not just in black community or culture, that’s in all cultures like Adrienne said. Slavery doesn’t define cheating. Cheating is a selfish move. Slavery is a while different type of topic. It’s not just black men that cheat it’s all men, all men of different races.

I'm confused. Did Loni go too soft with Kevin Hart disrespecting (not just A woman but HIS woman), trying to cushion things for him, but then say she thinks with Harvey Weinstein it goes back to "I'm powerful, I can do whatever I want..."? Where was that with Kevin Hart? You didn't think maybe he felt powerful and could do whatever he wanted, too? He could have lost his integrity from all that "hard work" and power and felt he could just cheat no problem. Just trying to figure out her logic.

Working hard is NOT AN EXCUSE. Kevin is worth MILLIONS and he works hard to stay making even more money. But, No one needs million of dollars in the bank. He could be happy saving the money he has now and living his life with his family. However, he is obsessed with fame and the money and power that comes with it. His short man complex and insecurity is making him act this way where he would never stop and he does not care what comes with it. Any smart respectable man would pick his family over money and once you start spiraling out of control you would leave that life. This is why people with A LOT of money have high suicide rates and depression because they loose everything for money and fame and it's not worth it.

Slavery isn’t the cause of why black men aren’t faithful to their woman. Democrat policies starting in the 60’s that were supposed to “help” the black community made things so much worse for them, and the community just keeps voting for those who make those policies.
