Although 99% of the time, I am beyond content to be a homeschooling momma of an only child, your videos make me long for a household full of all different ages (and all of the variety those different ages bring to everyone's day).

I love how different homeschools can be….this would never work with my crew but I love watching your days in the life ❤ I have to keep things simple and straightforward as far as what we cover in one day. If we try to cram too much in one day nothing gets accomplished! Thanks for sharing your day!

This was lovely though I’m tired just seeing how full your day is. . It’s wonderful seeing how much enjoyment your children get from learning together. I haven’t made lemon meringue for ages I must put that back into my baking rotation .

Thank you! Her sourdough sandwich bread is what I use for sandwiches and toast. I make two loaves somewhere at the beginning of the week, use one right away and freeze the other to pull out a few days later.

If you slice it before freezing, you can even toast it straight out of the freezer. It’s so convenient to have on hand. :)

What time do you start your homeschool days? How do you keep your younger ones quiet and occupied while you work with the olders?? My kids are 13,11, 7, and almost 5 years old.

I just wanted to say my kids are 13, 11, almost 8, 5, and 4. My little ones can make our day so chaotic. I'd love to sit and read and all of my kids want to be quiet and listen. Maybe someday! 🤦‍♀️

@@Melissa-jq2qnhave different activities for them to do, playdough, paint, kinetic sand, coloring, handwriting practice, snacks snacks snacks! I have ages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 13. I have to remind them to be quiet often though and the 1 and 2 yr old are usually being held by me or napping. Food is usually the answer for them though.

Do you plan on having more children? I have about the same age range: 14, 8, 8, 4, 2 months. I worry about my youngest homeschooling alone through high school. ❤ Very disciplined! I love it. My youngest are this way since they've been homeschooled from the beginning but my oldest started in 6th grade and struggles a bit.
