The Aquila 44 joins the Aquila power catamaran lineup boasting Aquila's signature fresh evolution of classic boating traditions where efficiency in design and performance compliment her luxurious living and was named "Best New Multihull 40'-49'" in the 2014 AIM Media Editor's Choice Awards.
On the Aquila 44, you will enjoy the 360˚ view from the spacious salon and galley that features a large seating area, hidden TV stowage, and plenty of storage to make a live-aboard or cruising easy and pleasant. I know this dude. He was my instructor for two weeks in St. Lucia when I was taking a bareboat certification. He knows his stuff. I never thought I'd see him promoting power vessels. Harry Mountain ROCKS !!!!

Pretty sure that’s the boat who’s new home is now in Key Largo FL. I sort of fell in love with catamarans after getting to sleep on a Lagoon 40 after hurricane Irma; anything to get climate control running while we waited for the power to come back on! Either way, I told what would be the owner of this particular Aquila to take a look at the available powercats on the market in the 40’ range. He settled on this Aquila 44 and loves it! Super practical and efficient, tremendous value proposition (price an equivalent motor yacht with 3 cabins and heads...), and just a plain cool boat with great dock appeal. Went on the HMY yachts Bimini regatta this past weekend and everyone wanted to come aboard and check out the Aquila. Well done and looking forward to seeing larger Aquila offerings in the future!

I would love to see a design with the optional lower helm station for the Northern waters. Also, can the flybridge be totally enclosed as well?

From a fibreglass marine detailers point of view that's a beautiful boat, just nit picking but when he was explaining the quality I couldn't help but notice the side deck forward of the rear cleat was misaligned.

The interior on the 42 was so much nicer. This one looks like an RV. Too bad the 42 didn’t have a full beam stateroom but even so it was better than this

i would love to see this boat redone by a company like greenline, maybe drop some the fly bridge for hybrid solar system.

Is there a reason Aquila can't offer Volvo Penta IPS drives on this boat? The layout is slightly preferable to the FP MY44, but the determining factor for me would be no IPS drives. Will that be available in the future?

Is this the boat from Australia!? And is this the boat that costs around 1.4 Million dollars USD!? Do you have an option for a sail to be added to this model!? And how would that affect the price?? Thank you!!

lovely boat, but I wonder how one can tell if the stainless steel is of good quality by just looking at it ;)

Leave the water line length but lengthen the deck by 2 feet, clip the wave peircers off. Move the helm to the main deck, strip the flybridge off so it's now a 46 sport, like the 36. Mount the foil system and fins like the 36, ditch the lame 300hp Volvo and mount a couple of Mercury's new 600hp, 2speed V12's on the back. Narrow the deck a little and now you have a big brother to the 36 Sport OB. That thing would fly!!.. @Aquila.. are you listening?

Honestly... I'd prefer engine access from the interior... If you're ever out in rough seas and need to get into your engine room for any reason... You have to go outside and risk falling overboard... With interior access you don't have to worry about that.
