Why does this killer come across almost likable? He does have some sense of values. It’s bizarre. He doesn’t want the kids to witness the shooting. He gets mad when his friend leaves his own kids with a sketchy babysitter. He uses his money to pay his mom’s rent when the other guy is gambling it away. He’s clearly wiser than the other guy. It’s just too bad he was born into this gang. He could have been something. Imagine if he’d been born into a good home and sent to school.

I feel bad for Luis Rivera. His honesty in the courtroom was refreshing. Showed more values than the Adelson family put together.

I have to say Rivera comes across as way more likable and human than Wendi...or any member of the Adelsons for that matter. He's being genuine and open whereas Wendi's persona comes across as completely false and phony in her testimonies and police interviews. I wish he hadn't chosen a life of crime. 😢

Even though Rivera is a gang member, his story makes more sense. Why would he drive 7 hours to kill a man he has never met.

I’m glad the State did work with Mr Rivera. His testimony was worth it and it lead to the arrest and conviction of Charlie and the arrest of Donna.

As crazy as this sounds. This is the only suspect in this case that I have any respect for. He seems to have some empathy for the victims. He is caught, he knows he’s caught and he is willing to be open & honest. He knows he can’t fool law enforcement and isn’t even going to try to put on a show and try.

Delivered a burner phone ahead of schedule? WA always goes out to eat when hitmen were close by; twice (Once in Miami and then in Tallahassee; the same date/time of the murder). SG may have remembered WA from the restaurant in Miami; assumed she lived in Miami? Or, perhaps "somehow" knew she desired to move to Miami and wanted her kids in Miami (too). LR could easily confuse minor details if he too knew WA had been in or from Miami. But, there are moments when SG or LR may have been in direct contact with WA in real time ... (burner phone, whats app, via KM on whats app with WA or CA). He slips a few times and says "The Lady" said ... okay, said to who (and as needed for him/them). However, SG or LR seem a little too familiar with Tallahassee. With RICO crimes on the rise in Tallahassee around that time +/- ... difficult to say why LR believed SG had "seen" WA before and where/when. (But, he's not mentioning the restaurant?)
