This is one of the most profound learning experiences I've ever had -- learning from a sharp, brilliant, and self-aware intellectual who had the courage to live and end her life the way she thought it should be, so uncompromising, unsullied by this world's superficialities and pretensions and banalities. She and her mother must be two of the world's most caring, most empathetic women.

EVERY person, in EVERY STATE & COUNTRY should have the personal right to make the decision this woman has made! She wants to die on HER own terms, NOT the dictoral government's. She wants to die with dignity, what is left of her cognitive memory and HER personal CHOICES! This woman is total class, very educated and has it all together. Her wishes should be honored, EVERYONE should have that personal CHOICE, as animals do. WHY are humans not allowed to???

This interview was a very naked look at a subject that is charged with emotion. I am deeply saddened that some people have chosen this as their personal forum for the rants that can be found all over the internet. I don't care what your political beliefs are, or your personal views/beliefs about a supreme being. This is not the place! This woman opened her heart and her innermost private thoughts to us and we should show some courtesy, compassion, and respect - or say nothing at all. Whether or not I agree with her choice to end her life on her terms, it IS HER life and HER decision. I believe I understand why she had chosen to end her life when she did, and I admire her clarity of thought and logical reasoning for doing so. I hope, dear lady, that you found the freedom and joy you once knew as a mortal being. I do believe in life after death and hope we will meet some day.
