I been in Law Enforcement for more than 20 years....Military Police/Homeland Security, Corrections, Armed Security etc.....this is the sickest incident I seen on social media and as I grew up in Mobile, Alabama i saw this type of stuff in my city and this is the reason why my sister became a police officer in Mobile, Al and I been in Law Enforcement since 1998. This is a 24 yr old young man who don't even know how to feel and probably will have PSTD for life because of the actions of this terrible human being. I had a very weird encounter with a LEO about 10 years ago. I was pulled over for no reason, and the officer said some strange things to me. I very quickly realized that I was dealing with a "bad cop". I kissed his ass and humiliated myself by saying "yes" to everything. It took years to get over it. This poor young man was treated 10 times worse than I was. I wish him well.

She is not an attorney. Why is she asking all of these questions? Where is his attorney to tell him not to answer questions.!!!! I don't like what she's insinuating about bad blood in pickins County or any arrest or problems with the police in pickens County!!!! The police officer had no cause to ask for ID or anything else. Mr. Washington was not driving a car when this cop began to harass him. He was pulled over beside the road, changing a flat tire. She began her unlawful actions from the moment she encountered him. A few years behind bars plus having to pay him civil damages out of her own pocket along with the lawsuit he has a right to would perhaps set an example for other rogue cops to stop abusing their powers under the color of law. It is actions like this that create a fear and hatred of cops among the population. I don't know if this was a racial issue or not since I have seen so much police abuse of power against many citizens of different nationalities. Seems more like a power trip these rogue cops are on and they seem to be getting worse.

Having watched the video of what happened to this man, the officer involved needs to be fired immediately and then jailed. The interviewer asked how he treated at the station or jail he stated they treated him good not fully understanding that he was treated like a criminal for the simple fact that he didn’t get a phone call when in all reality he shouldn’t have been there in the first place
