Sgt. Curtis Casper and Officer George Midgett were simply co-workers, but what happened inside the prison one fateful day in 2017 has bonded them forever. One saved the other's life. While both were stabbed and beaten, it is the emotional wounds that still haunt them every day.

This story is so sad. My heart really goes out to these men/women involved in this nightmare. Lots of prayers for these survivors.

Frightening the way Prison Officials treated their Staff ( Government Employees ) Lives taken and life threatening severe injuries. I agree a prisoner is a prisoner never trust. Lord help these employees

dude i get it. but the one dude sounds like a cry baby little kid. you signed up for the job. you wanna blame anyone. BLAME YOURSELF for BEING COMPLACENT. and NOT REMEMEBRING WHERE YOU WORKED. YES i get it, its sad. and its a REALLY bad situation. but these dudes just wanna pay day now.

You can tell big boy on the right is arrogant and treats inmates like animals instead of humans. Also, blames everything on everyone else, but he was a sargent, so if people were complacent, it because he allowed them to be complacent, and was complacent himself. Also sounds like hes looking for a payday.

Maybe they should treat prisoners better than they do (in this man's case) 24 years is a long time to be locked up so i could understand why he attacked the prison guards.

You mean the offender who shot a state trooper for pulling him over for a seatbelt ticket would not have killed anyone if they said please and thank you? He admitted that Veronica Darden was a nice lady who treated him with respect, and he still killed her. What an ignoramus you are.
