All the hostages on release were commanded to "Wave and Smile" They were told to say that they were treated well by H@m@s. I don't think that you would be thinking that you were 'treated well' if you are 40 meters underground and don't even know if your husband is alive.

I'm very, very astonished. This lady was one of the first hostages, who came back. I saw the interview, she had directly by coming out of the car from Hamas, sitting in a wheelchair. The Hamas people and she celebrated a friendly good bye. And exactly this lady described her experience being a hostage. First she told , how friendly and respectful she was treated. That in the very first beginning one of the Hamas told her, that she must not be afraid, that nothing bad would happen to her. Because we are Muslims, she told, the young man had spoken to her And how good she felt after this. Then she described, that everybody had the same food, and that the Hamas shared every food with the hostages. Her daughter was standing besides her and translated the mothers words into understandable English. At the end of this video the Red Cross People took her. Later was reported, that the family had problems with people from the state. And again later you could read, that Israel doesn't want the hostages to be interviewed. And now?? In her very first interview it was important for her to describe, that she had everything she needed. That the women got everything they needed to clean their body . And they were given everything for women's hygiene. And the goodbye between her and the Hamas people was relaxed and friendly. And now?? This is strange for me. I will compare the date of the first interview with this one.

Everything you say is correct and superbly outlined. I followed the interview. I am surprised myself that she is thinking differently now. I don’t remember she’d said something about a tunnel in the first interview. Maybe she thinks that if she says what she is told to say, this will bring her her husband faster. Or it was simply the case of an Oslo Syndrome cured. She got close to her kidnappers, but she is tired and has been through a lot at her age, and she is now free and safe. Her mind may choose to distance herself with her kidnappers, no matter how well treated she was.

The propaganda continues.. I really feel sorry for these hostages who had to deal with Israel once they got back. You can imagine the amount of threats and conditioning they had to go through before going on these "interviews". Yet when you look at other hostage interviews, they tell a completely different story about their experience where they were treated with respect and didnt even feel like a hostage situation.

The difference between Hama's and the IDF is that Hama's took hostages, but IDF takes Palestinian Prisoners. The youngest Palestinian Prisoner held by the IDF was an 11 month year old baby. Civilians should not be caught in this, but that's hard because IDF has already killed well over 14000 civilians. And the prisoners they captured..are civilians. Again the difference between Hamas and the IDF is that Hama's treats them as hostages. Whereas IDF treats them as Prisoners. Who do you think is better treated?
