This is not our normal type of content, but we wanted to share our lasik story. We are so thankful Toledo Lasik worked with us, and let us capture this experience on camera. This was such a terrifying experience, but the staff truly showed levels of patience and kindness you don't see everywhere. The patient care exhibited in this video is one of a kind. Thank you guys for sharing this journey with us. I’m a lot like Caitlin. As a person that has worn glasses all her life i have thought many times about getting this done but have been afraid to. I cannot put contacts in because i hate touching my eyes and i have to have someone put eye drops in my eyes. Watching you both go through this is breathtaking and amazing and lets me know that i too can do this! You both are fantastic, marvelous, inspiring and incredible! Thank you for this! I truly believe that if I could get through this, anyone can! It was such a quick procedure and absolutely worth it. The change it has made is incredible 🙌 I can't wait for Cedar Point season, and to not have to worry about glasses on the coasters, or them getting smashed in my fanny pack!

This is amazing!!! So proud Caitlin!! As squeamish as this makes me, I would be more willing to get Lasix done after watching this if I needed it. The dr was incredible talking you through every step. Staff seemed so supportive. It takes away the unknown and you both handled it like champs which takes the fear away!!!!!

Is Lasix something that lasts forever? Or will it have a possibility of needing repeated like 10 years down the road?

It honestly depends on your starting vision before the procedure and how much you need corrected. This procedure should last for us. If it does not, Toledo Lasik does offer free correctional procedures as long as you attend all of your follow-up visits.
