The birth of a male calico cat (a cat with a tri-colored coat) is an extremely rare event (as another army explained), and penicillin was discovered by the Scottish scientist Fleming by pure accident. Hence, RM used these metaphors to symbolize extraordinary and serendipitous events, perhaps orchestrated by the universe (providence). Serendipity is one of my fav BTS songs and this song and performance made Jimin my bias. Thanks for your fun, funny and insightful reactions! Had been missing them for the longest time!😊

The song doesn't exactly has smth to do with getting laid but we're open to translation in this house. But to give you a little insight, there are four vocal line songs in their Love Yourself album series; Serendipity, Euphoria, Singularity and Epiphany. They each represent the stages of love. Serendipity could be seen has developing a crush, Euphoria is actually being with that person, Singularity is parting ways with that person and losing yourself in the process and Epiphany is finally learning to love yourself. BTS has their own storyline and lore that you can check it out if you're interested. It could help you disect their poetry better too. Hope this helps!

All I can say is that seeing this live was ::chef's kiss:: 🤌. Watch the official, shorter trailer video. The color scheme you were envisioning? Spot on. Watch his online performance of Filter (red outfit) and you'll be slapped in the face with the stage presence. As someone who had the privilege to see Jimin perform this song live back in 2019, I can guarantee you that the atmosphere is absolutely heavenly. His voice, the melody, the bubbles on the stage…. I think we have a Jimin bias on our hands.🤣 RM wrote the guide to the song. He had Jimin in mind for the song when he wrote it naturally. Performance wise- the choreographer Brian Puspos (who would later be a backup dancer in JK's Seven performances) said Jimin fully realized his vision of the choreography. (Edit) Don't forget to check out the MV for Serendipity. The boys do wear contacts often for their performances and MVs, and you called it, there was a very soft palette used to convey the mood of the song. There are so many names for Jimin earned by his performance excellence. My favorites are "Rookies Bible" and "Stage Commander".

Jimin sings, “I’m your Calico cat, Here to meet you.” The metaphorical lyrics voice that he beat all odds and came into being for the purpose of meeting Her and loving Her.

Jimin is such a baby in that one. I can’t wait for you to hear Jimin’s Lie after hearing this! You should also watch the live performance. Jimin is a beautiful vocalist, but also a dancer, so the choreo with him always hit different. You’ll be surprised :) About Serendipity, the song is so dreamy and his vocals feels so good to the soul and I love the R&B slow, not overdone beats. BTS are influenced by not just hip-hop, but R&B as well. Btw, RM is in the writing credits for Serendipity. Jimin wrote the lyrics for Lie.

When I was a baby ARMY at the beginning of the CoViD pandemic, I used to wonder if he knew what he was doing because many people were commenting about not sexualizing "the boys" and how pure, innocent and wholesome they were. I got to the point where I thought if they were so pure, innocent, and wholesome then they're also cruel! Cuz there is no way that they, Jimin in particular, could perform and create the way that they do, believably! They can't have been THAT innocent; pure, wholesome, talented from head to toe, sure, but certainly not innocent. Every now and then they all have done or said something either blatantly grown and sexy ... or with a mischievous or flirty twinkle in their eye. Jimin is mesmerizing when he performs. Hard to take your eyes off him! His voice, his dance moves. In Suga’s Suchwita show when Jimin guested, they talked about how Jimin was encouraged by Suga who recognized early on Jimin’s unique tone. Another part of Jimin’s voice for me is during some hype performances when he growls. He really is a marshmallow voice but when he goes crazy…I will never get tired of watching and listening to BTS. Jimin’s Promise and his hidden track, Letter (dear ARMY) are the tracks I listen to during migraines or just very anxious moments and his voice is healing. His smile is healing too. He’s a different type of guy for sure. 💛

The MV, will melt you into a puddle of shivery goosebumps & your heart will get all a-flutter🦋 , when he looks straight into the camera lens & your soul, with those magnetic , soul- searching eyes, of his. Whoa! It's like tiny snowmen, running all over your skin & little stars, shining all inside of you. Yes, it is EXACTLY like that. This song, creates wonderful & intense ,physical reactions . first off its BTS. they're going to be able to dance to everything. 2nd jimin's voice is very delicate and smooth. I could never date a jimin bias because I can never Stack Up.this song is a treasure.

RM wrote and produced this song specifically for Jimin and his vocals. It is one of my favorite songs of all time. Jimin is special, not just because of his unique tone and his out of this world dance skills, but he is a one of a kind human being with so much love, kindness and just the right amount of sass. Looks like the Jimin Effect has hit you as well - as they say "Once you Jim-in you can't Jim-out". 😝🥰

I’m glad you saw what I see in their lives performances: modesty!! Hahahah they know what makes the crowd insane and use it strategically. If they went crazy with it I can’t imagine what it would be like. While I’m here I would recommend Stigma sang by v (the baritone). The beat, the voice and the flow!!! It’s out of this world. Soulful.

All of Jimins solo songs are different, they do not sound alike and this is literally the best thing about Jimin) Lie is the first and the oldest of his solo, it was a part of BTS Wings album(2016) Then it was serendipity(2017) Then it was his song promise(2018) Then in 2020 BTS released their album MOTS:7, in which he released his song Filter And lastly his solo album) And all this songs have a different vibe and sound

Can you imagine this song with just any other voice? It’s so sweet, delicate, and sensual. Sparkly sprinkles with a bit of huskiness in his voice. Absolutely unique.. truly one of a kind. You put Jimin’s vocals and dance together with RMs lyrics. It’s perfection

@@G.Rudi.B 9:56 A calico cat is a type of cat that has 3 colors. But that's not its most unusual trait, calico cats are known because mostly they're all females due to genetics. So Jimin being a male and him saying he's a "calico cat" poetically means he's rare.
