@@x0cx102 he swoons over many players, he has a particular thing for Ma and Truls. He should be calling out Ma's crappy backhand and Truls needing to stop his trick shots if he wants to get better.

Felix, so young, so fast, mentally so tough, and yet, his game is so amazingly mature. His side and under-spin serve was so spiny and deceptive that sank veteran Karlsson's return right into the net numerous times. To me, only China's Wang Chuqin is currently the only insurmountable barrier in front of him. Against other top tier Chinese, Felix may have a small chance pulling out an upset. I'm sure the French table tennis legend Jean-Philippe Gatien will be proud of Felix. Felix very likely will surpass Gatien for France table tennis.

Too bad for KK. He got almost everything needed for a top player but the sheer number of unforced errors made him where he was. Bravo to Felix. His mental strength is truly impressive for a 17-yr old. I suppose this is a side benefit when you use a hold that other players and coaches would quickly ditch as hopeless and you always have to deal with the perpetual weaker BH.

Non, Wang Chuqin est à l'heure actuelle le meilleur joueur du monde, je ne pense pas que Félix puisse le battre. Par contre, si il le joue, ça serait bien qu'il parvienne à évoluer à son vrai niveau contrairement à la finale du championnat du monde par équipes où il a donné l'impression d'être crispé par l'évènement et n'a jamais réussi à rentrer dans son match, et au final il ne s'est pas mis en situation d'apprendre de ces rencontres au plus haut niveau.

@@fredh5073 Bien sur, et j'espère de tout coeur que Félix créera la surprise, mais si je devais miser mes économies ça serait sur Wang. J'espère juste que Félix arrivera à jouer relâché et à lui prendre des sets. Sur ses deux derniers matchs contre Ma Long et Wang Chuquin il a quand même été dans le dur.

God, dear God please please listen to me we’re suffering! For all those years, people were watching table tennis peacefully and they were enjoying it so much. But somehow, “some people” decided that we should watch table tennis with this stupid angle. We’re all suffering. No one is liking it. The problem is: regardless of the left or right side the ball is going, WE SEE THE SAME THING. Left/right distinction doesn’t make sense with this angle. AND IT’S KILLING THE ENJOYMENT WE GET OUT OF THIS GAME. In no sport whatsover, ANGLE IS AN ISSUE!!!! Dear God, why are you punishing a minority of people. We’re bunch of people who love table tennis. But this angle…. I don’t even want to watch the video, even of the best players with this angle. God please help us… do whatever necessary(!) to bring back the old angle. Please. I don’t like table tennis anymore. Please.please.please.please….

Oh man I feel your pain. I would LOVE to watch these tournaments but they are 100% unwatchable. Maybe the worst decision in sports broadcasting history. Thank you very much for your heartfelt response. Unfortunately WTT is a completely anonymous entity (I defy you to name anyone who works there - no names are listed on the website) and we'll never get a response. I only put these videos on for an instant to make and see these types of comments. To no avail I'm afraid.

They don’t even bother asking people whether they like this new angle or not. Yes, of course, some will claim they like it. There are all sorts of people. Some people like to eat their own shit. Exceptions don’t change the reality. Make a poll and see what people want, instead of making arbitrary decisions.

Was meinst du denn.. Das ist doch kein hype.. Der Felix is aus dem nichts auf Platz 6 der Welt geschossen hinter die Chinesen.. Er gewinnt einfach fast alles.. Wie kann er nicht besser spielen?
