Hot spicy and ready for suffering. This nights Pain train installation is not holding anything back. I came to Sydney Olmypic park ready to smash the pedals, ride hard and give myself a good work out. 1 hour of smashing it is a great way to improve the Vo2Max and bring my threshold back to where it should be. Doesn't hurt to go all out in the sprint at the end as well. In this video I manage to secure my best ever 10second power, watch to check it out.

What Telemetry data software are you using? Looks really good. 👍

Telemetry overlay. It is a bit of an expensive program but I have found it worth it so I can produce videos which look better and communicate the data more clearly.

Good workout Josh, its a roadie pleasure to do this sort of ride. I'm wondering if you get much interference from the public, eg pedestrians or cars on that circuit? If so you guys sit up and regroup or is it fight back on?

Luckily Tuesday nights are mostly quiet. There is the occasional car turning or people crossing the road. This is treated no differently to how you would on a normal group ride. In the slower groups they will do a regroup, for pain train it really depends on if there was a big gap caused or not. I’d say half the time you need to TT to get back to the group.

It’s good fun and probably one of the best work outs I get in. Shame it takes me about half an hour to drive there. Thanks for appreciating the telemetry haha. Hard work deserves a little maccas treat ;)

Rarely. It’s very quiet at night. Occasionally there’s a concert or event on and we either cancel our ride or go elsewhere.
